Who are you supporting in this match? Your two favourite teams, you have to pick one.
It’s not England.
Rugby cancer it is then. One of us! One of us!

 Embra is my Scottish team. Unfortunately they pla the same time as the Stormers but they will put the Dragons to the sword. Slick make my feel dirty now.
What have I done!
You support England like Gatland

It's weird. I'm nowhere near as antsy as I would normally be (before the NZ game 4 years ago I was nervous the whole day before).

As an English fan I don’t know which would be the worst outcome tonight, as a rugby fan I think the world’s biggest sinkhole would be opportunistic.

Agreed. This is an England game with no downside. If we get thumped by 50 points, as looks likely, we congratulate SA. If we win, we modestly say that rugby was the winner.

Either way, i wish all concerned a very fine and enjoyable night.

A win would ruin me, the sudden weight of expectation that something could happen. I mean obviously I'd prefer that, but a loss would be easier.

C'mon England, you can do it. We'll take it to those weak saffa forwards and zip round their backs with our fast and elusive......

Ahh feck it. Well done saffas.

I go into this game more nervous than I thought I'd be. And probably more than I should. But I'm definitely not 100% confident.

Before the RWC, I thought:
- Ireland was slightly meh, but still capable of winning the cup
- France was good, slightly better than Ireland but still a bit meh
- England was complete rubbish
- We're seeing the worst NZ team in years.
- Best Bok team in years, virtually unstoppable, just like NZ in 1995

My feelings now:
- Ireland was fecking great, and could easily have won the tourney. But shame that they won't even be competing for 3rd place. But the 1/4 jinx is a major obstacle
- France was just as good as Ireland, not 100% on par but still capable, much like Ireland. The much dreaded "which French team is going to show up" still applies.
- England. I honestly don't know what to expect. They may still not be on par with the other great nations, but I would never write them off...especially in semis and finals
- Never ever think a NZ team is not good. They always are. Usually better than any other team. Sometimes they just have a weird way of showing it. It may be intentional.
- Boks. Still a great time, but definitely not unstoppable. Any of the teams above can beat them on any given day...especially in quarters, semis and finals.

I'm nervous for today's game.

If we beat England like we should in theory, the final is going to be epic, and downright mentally draining.

Taking nothing away from England or the Argies (if South Africa should lose), but the wrong teams are going to complete for 3rd and 4th place. It should've been an Ireland/France game.

Ok England time to assume the position, its reaming time, if you are lucky SA might use lube.

I think there’s a better than evens chance there is no lube in this match. But I keep my fingers crossed we push you out a few times before getting some tender lovin’…

It will be a bit shit that we are going 5 world cups with only 2 winners and no new winners. I blame the Irish and the French.

One weird statistic folks, England were the only undefeated team heading into the semis apparently. Have they been a bit on the sneaky side and are going to pull off a major upset today  If by upset we mean keeping the losing margin under 50.

Oh good they are focusing on the hot chicks, Saffas winning there as well btw.

Right, checking in. Was a close run thing though.

The Mrs decided that absolutely everything under the sun needed doing tonight as well as putting two kids to bed. Nothing could wait until the morning.

Hope it's a decent game. Ideally without the French booing through the whole thing.
