That ITV comp just seems to be a lottery...not a comp.

It's remarkable seeing them lose the physical contest so badly.

Can't shake the feeling Farrell and Manu's stupidity is going to ultimately prove costly for England. Much to my surprise, I find my self hoping I'm wrong though.

The fact it's yielded 12 points and eye bleeding says something just how shit we've been.

Probably won't see it in the second half but when the play is in their 22 and SA are defending they are perpetually offside,

JM2K6 wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 7:54 pm Extremely funny half of rugby. Manu's shithousery costing us. England pack spoiling like fuck. Wingers existing just to chase kicks (and doing a great job). Farrell having his regular SA mental disintegration, putting in shit kicks, yelling at the ref, getting penalised for even more backchat, but nailing the penalties. Marler being huge in the tight but giving away a million penalties. Lawes picking the SA rucks clean. Mitchell raising his game finally. Mbonambi being incapable of throwing. SA losing their fucking minds over facing a team that simply refuses to play any rugby.

I thought the plan was for SA to play some rugby with Libbok at 10? Did Big Brain Rassie not realise than England's biggest weakness was teams willing to move the ball and run at them? This is weapons grade stupidity from the Saffers. Sadly I expect all change in the second half.

Absolutely no fear of a game of rugby breaking out in that half but it's been enjoyable for fans of absolute shithousery. Very funny stuff.

Clumsy
Not used to the wet. Or the wrong studs. TBF it has been absolutely pissing down with rain so the pitch is likely to be incredibly slippery. I was looking at the wind and weather maps it has been solid westerly's off the Atlantic likely bringing loads of rain over northern France.

NZ and England were not going to be anyone’s pick for the final going in to this comp.

I don't know if Reinach, Lubbock and Willemse have played worse games for SA.

Nah, it was the right call given how fast the defensive line came up. Not his fault y'all ballsed up the line out.

The phase before Farrell kicked there was a 4 on 1 outside.
