The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Os were truly dreadful, Glasgow playing way below their best with a second string team and the Welsh side still coughed up a BP loss tot he Weedge without taking a single point from the game.

That’s one of those Glasgow should have lost but come the season vinegar strokes having rested most of the team will perhaps pay dividends.
Very very lucky the ospreys were as shite as they were. Any of the Irish sides would have put 50 on them today, as would several of the saffa sides.

Enjoying the start Edinburgh have made. Still a wee bit harum scarum but you can see Healy trying to add a bit more control.
Connor Boyle starting to look like an international player imo. Tom Dodd looks a good pickup so far.

Also, if Toulon are watching this game tonight they might rethink signing kinghorn

He's been handed some screaming hot turds though

He has, but he‘s dropped a fair few logs all by himself too. He’s done some good things for sure but he’s put in the kind of performance Finn’s critics (wrongly) claim he puts in. 3 shite the beds for every 1 good thing.Tichtheid wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 8:40 pmKingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 8:17 pm Also, if Toulon are watching this game tonight they might rethink signing kinghorn

Great to see Vellacott on and scoring, especially given the speculation earlier this week (which his inclusion hopefully suggests is wide of the mark).

Did anyone spot the shot clock after that try giving Healy about 10 seconds because the TMO was checking the try. Hope there aren’t any actual fuck-ups that cost team points by not stopping the clock properly.

Come on dude, look at my name, I’m clearly not a hater. I’m not going to go back and look out the incidents but he shat the bed at least 3 times in the first half all by himself. If you don’t agree that’s cool, each to their own.

He had three balls to pick off the floor, another player may have dealt with them better, but those were the hot turds I was talking about

That’s very harsh that yellow for me, Schoeman was just there and not even trying to make a tackle. Ashman’s tackle smashes the Connacht player into him. Rugby incident, move on for me.

I'm doing John Barclay, he said the same

I heard him, I didn’t disagree that there have been shite moments caused by others. Honestly, there is no point continuing this because I have no interest in trying to evidence my opinion. I though he had a bit of a shocker you didn’t, that’s sport.Tichtheid wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 8:59 pm

Great from Benji. I’m not going to repeat what I said when I saw him tap but suffice to say I was not pleased

Very slack defense from Connacht though. Just as well the conversion was missed
I think Dodson has mandated that no Scottish team is ever allowed to practice restarts. And only lineouts on Tuesdays

Massive shoulder to the head in that last ruck not noticed for some reason. Tucked arm and no attempt to wrap.
