She certainly is, even when she's "older". Brunhilda (think that's the one) is another.

Just looked her up, her real name! It's Ragga Ragnars!

EDIT - Gunnhild! That's the name of the character, not Brunhilda.

Hmmm... Gisla is going to look like Nora Batty in a few years... but yes, high-quality tottage everywhere in the show. I also thought Floki was a brilliant character, brilliantly acted.

Also, Lagertha just raped someone - she's so bad-ass!

I’m three episodes into this Umbrella Academy series. It’s got some good reviews but it’s incredibly boring. Painful to watch.

On top of that the characters are unlikeable and the acting is awful.

I’m about to chuck it in but does anyone know if it gets any better?

What does a cunt have to do to view the excellent Brokenwood Mysteries in Straya?

There are about five eps of this great Kiwi show Mrs Jimmy and I haven't seen and short of buying a DVD player and ordering a boxed set * shudder * not sure what else I can do.

A few end game spoilers small gripes

Thought the ending in the third dimension tied it all together really well. Definitely made sense as an ending and was nicely shot.

The one thing that stopped it being truly great TV for me was the lack of real drama for much of it. You have a sense throughout pretty much the whole series until the final episode that everything is on tracks and unfolding exactly the way it needs to to get to Adam (and later Eve) where they need to be. Also, the acting throughout was superb, but the actor playing the teenage Jonas doesn't really carry the role that well for me.
Have to say that I loved it. Ending montage of s3e6 is one of the most powerful dialogue free bits of TV I've seen in a good while.

Plenty of drama in there. The series is relentlessly cruel to characters who deserve better.

Ulrich and Mads reunion was brilliantly done.

And Hannah is an ultra-bitch. Decent looking though.
Did anyone pick up on "Mads Mikkel Nielsen" = Mads Mikkelsen?

Mr Robot was the best thing id seen in years.

Succession best thing currently on tv.

Netflix - Young Wallender. Reboot of the Wallender series. Just 6 episodes.

Set in Malmo, lead is Swedish, everyone else is a Brit so the show is in English (like Chernobyl); but it still works. I’m halfway in and really enjoy it.

I've continued to watch it but not a massive fan. Wouldn't put me up or down if I didn't finish S2

Raised by Wolves has a promising start.

first 3 episodes are good sci-fi.

the editing leaves a bit to be desired as its slightly off with a couple of scenes not quite making sense.

Wee bit late to the party but just watched the first episode of Generation Kill. Wasn't really gripped by it, worth continuing with?

Nothing really happens. It’s just a bunch of grunts driving around for about 10 episodes with any killing actually happening only about every third one. I’m sure it’s true to war/real, but it’s dull.

I'm not needing full on contacts but the characters just don't interest me. I'm not expecting to be invested in them within one episode but BoB and Pacific had me hooked from the off.

Oh God, it’s nothing like as good as those! Not even the same planet.

I didn’t care for the characters in GK either.

I loved the character interactions, the realism and attention to detail, with only the occasional firefight or explosion. But if you're not convinced from the beginning, it's not going to change, so probably not worth investing more time.

Camp Cretaceous. I watched a couple of episodes with the kids at the weekend then went out and they finished it.

I see a new series of Fargo isn’t far away. I’m a late comer to that but have enjoyed them all (nearing halfway in S3 now). Nikki Swango .

Enjoyed the new episodes of The Boys so far. It's not the most amazing tv show ever, but it's definitely good fun!

That has a final series to rival lost for just how shite it finished up. And frankly, I spent most of the time hoping someone would hit Starbuck over the head with a brick. Fk me she was annoying.

I was tempted as I like monsters, especially Lovecraftian ones, but the trailers and reviews made it clear those would be infrequent guest stars rather than main cast (as it were).

"Racism is bad, m'kay" and 'serious' drama aren't really things I feel the need to fill my limited free time with.

Yeah - I’m really enjoying it. It’s got flaws, but has some excellent characters (one of the most terrifying sci-fi characters I’ve seen in years) and an intriguing plot. Looks stunning too - very Ridley Scott.

Netflix.

White Lines, good especially if you knew Ibiza 15-20 years ago.

Ratchet. Very good, super tense.

I've been hearing it's basically a series of American Horror Story. but without that branding and, accordingly, somewhat meh.
