It may already be in place, but maybe a maximum of 3 nested/embedded quotes in a reply? No issue with separate quotes within a post, mind you, if someone is addressing things point by point.

I do like a post up/downvote function. Whilst I appreciate it's a measure of nothing of value it does give you the opportunity to (begrudgingly) clandestinely acknowledge a decent post in the unlikely event that one of your least favourite bordies should hang one.

Is there a way to shrink the font/layout of topic list? Each topic takes up a load of screen space so only a few are on screen at a time. With the giant header bar when first arriving I only get 4 topics displayed.

I really like some of the added functionality, but I find it all very white in contrast. I’ve got to say I can skim read posts/posters far quicker and easier on PR. Perhaps I just need to get used to it, but there’s not as much definition.

I am going to setup a sandpit to play with colour schemes, just dont want to do it on the live bored until i am happy it wont fuxx everything up, i did consider the dark background with light text option, but that it really an aquired taste

Likely yes as i have enabled that functionality and it works fine for me on all my devices.

It’s just extremely bright as it is. I only frequent a few forums and they’re all more so on the grey scale. With slightly contrasting colours from one topic line to the next as well as contrast between one post line to the next. Really helps to give definition.

What sort of phone you got? Looks fine on an iPhone X in landscape. And on the same phone in portrait the layout changes with avatar / username above the post. A nice feature.

Yep, ads over function :D.

I don't mind a banner ad at the top and bottom. When they're between posts it's frustrating, and when they're on the sides it's really irritating especially for me, as I have my browser windows vertically set (large monitor, 2 browsers side by side). Pop-under/over, sliders etc. Horrendous.
