All England so far. They should be further ahead, Ireland really not at the races in dealing with the quick ball England are getting.

Think England will run out of energy.

Edit: we raced into a lead against Scotland.

Yes England should have at least another 3 from the pressure.

England playing way better (and with pace) than the first three matches. Can't see them keeping it up and Ireland still odd-on to win. But great for the neutral, much more entertaining than expected

Commentator saying England started really brightly against Scotland on auto repeat.
No they didn't. They scored a try. So far this is much better.

Very odd that D'Arcy is talking sense. England have gone into their shells again, after their best thirty minutes of rugby in years

England are so conditioned to kicking the ball away. After all that England behind 8-9.

Just noticed Chessum is packing down at 8 on defensive scrums.

And a knock-on in midfield too, just for good measure

Wasn't originally like that but 10 years of being coached not to play.

Think the reality is England couldn't keep up that pace and intensity. Now the daft errors are creeping in.

Possession stats must be 80% England in the first half.

Yeah I dunno how bad that was by Furbank, was a brutal kick to take and would've been a 50/22.

The blitz defence has coughed up a lot of seemingly soft offsides.

For all of that bright start, as I said after the first quarter it was still littered with errors and poor discipline in really bad areas. Ultimately we haven't been clinical enough, haven't nailed down the early dominance, couldn't keep up the pace of play which led to the game-plan tightening up and more errors creeping in. There were signs of life but no good just doing it for circa 20 mins. Need to regroup at the break.

Played well. Didn’t take advantage. Ref seems to have favoured Ireland at the breakdown. Missed 5 kickable points. It’s the hope isn’t it

That's a very harsh assessment. The only real fuck up ws not taking the pass from Feyi-Waboso and even then that wasn't the most sympathetic he'll have tried to catch.
