re-enforcing my observation that centers have the worst passing skills on the field in the modern game.

Surprised crusaders running so much early from their own half.

Great matchups across the park, and awesome to be under the roof

Too much bosh coaching. Ironic that Basta went the opposite through his career.

that should have been a pen for player infront of the knock-on playing the ball.

Good call - all for giving the early penalty for being over the ball - but only on the proviso they make sure they guy going for the ball is actually legal

Real problems for Landers if the scrum continues that way.

Crusaders attack looks like all blacks vs Argentina games - there is definitely space outside but cant get it there.

Highlanders scrum manshamed and then saders fluff the lineout

That try should have been easier. A lot of lateral running there

Try time saders -

Think they were lucky they kept going under advantage, looked to be holding on a couple of rucks earlier

Good call from TJ at the end after the Saders had decided to test him out...

Was Mo trying to rip ball instead of get his man down?

Great game this - shows how much a roof benefits the game.

Ref is being a little bit inconsistent with some of these ruck penalties

Wow - even more bias (or blindness)

No - ref made the same mistake the other way. It's blindness

I was thinking the last few weeks, teams were knocking the rust off a little bit - this seems more full on.

The Clan don’t have many superstars (Frizell is having a monster game, though) but they’re playing with guts and smarts.

2 blatant forward passes missed. It balanced though.

Agree the two forward passes and two potential turnovers balance it out.

Definitely not enough to take away from great game and sounds like amazing atmosphere at the ground - up yours covid

Commentators applauding the Highlanders defence - me too. Sadists were on full throttle and still lost the ball

Some great flat passing in there from the sadists. Highlanders equal to the task though.

Great game so far.
