If SA did join the 6N, they would win it at least 50% of the time , and NZ would beat them more often as we’d drag the boks down to our level a bit

The All Blacks really want us. We lift them and the Wallabies.

Nobody wants you seems closer to the truth. But if I'm wrong I'm happy to see you bugger off and play NZ anyway.

I'm not sure in all ways I'm against SA joining the 6N, but I dislike the closed shop approach so bigger picture I might take the fragmentation and erosion of the 'historic charm', then again there would be the reality of hearing more from Saffer supporters, and the increased risk of seeing SA play rugby when it's depressing enough watching England

Why is watching England depressing? Thought they played some nice running rugby against the SH teams.

There are so many saffas in London it would make financial good sense to have SA in the 6N instead of Italy , and use Twickenham as home stadium. There is enough depth of players they could be in the 6N as well as all their existing commitments.

Sure. The players need to be manage carefuly. He rotate so much that he find the balance for them to recover well. However the SA players need to have an 8 week break from rugby.

He’s played 50 plus players this season already, you could easily support a euro based 6n team and a championship SA based team and give every player the 8 week break

Agree, we need the 6 Nations TV monies. Will lift their quality no doubt just like in the URC.

Oom is the braai master of this thread.

Loads up the wood and gets the fire roaring, can't cook on flames so he then leaves the thread. Wanders back to inspect the haggis and English beef steak which has jumped on, sometimes there's a rare Welsh lamb chop too. Wanders off again to the other threads, comes back to his braai once he knows which bits of meat to turn and which to leave a bit longer.

The 6 nations level look weak this year. The Wallabies will fit right in. Boks and All Blacks can do long tours.

They’ve done a really good job this year to be fair, Fiji, SA and Oz sold out a fair few weeks ago and Portugal was about 60k.

I could have taken the 2 kids to Portugal for £35 for the 3 of us which is obviously great value

I don't recall Japan whining they should join the 6N because of the huge interest people would have in those games.
