Reminds me of the time I was canoeing down a river well away from the concentration of cottages. Hadn't seen one in ages and as I'm portaging around some waterfalls, notice a small one on the far bank. Also on the bank, they had a zip line rigged to go from one to the other, presumably so they could drop into the pool at the base of the falls.
Can't imagine insurance companies / local councils approve of things like these!
I did a wee search to see if I could find something similar and had to laugh at this...
... but also saw a few stories about people getting injured from home rigs and, sadly, even one death due to a tree giving out.

In fairness he probably needed the 5 minutes of not actively being mauled to death to calm down sufficiently for his brain to start suggesting ideas other than "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH".Chrysoprase wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:13 amThe dipshit spends over 5 minutes focusing on filming it all on his phone rather than looking for rocks to throw in self defence.

I lol'd more than I should have at this one:
Saw on twitter that a storm was trending for my province... they aren't kidding!!! (Thankfully heading well north of here, but hope it doesn't turn into a tornado as the warnings are suggesting.)
The hail from where I grew up...
This storm chaser's loving it, though! He's right, we NEVER see this sort of thing this time of year...
