Rickleton completely worked over and it would be hard to say Starc was subtle in how he did it. Poor batting

Mulder scrap around. He is no nr3. Stubbs the last real batter.
White ball mentality. Test cricket is the other way round. They have to get you out. Let them charge in and bowl outside off for a few hours, they'll knacker themselves and then you can make a score.Sandstorm wrote: Wed Jun 11, 2025 4:48 pm So easy for bowlers. They just bowl 4th stump for an hour. Unless you make them do something else, you’re fucked.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?
In other news, Scotland v Netherlands today in World Cricket League 2 qualifying tournament for the next Cricket World Cup, Scotland have posted a big score batting first. George Munsey's 191 from 150 balls (14x4s, 11x6s) was the mainstay of their 369/6. Munsey's score is the highest by a Scottish batsman in ODIs, and the highest by any associate country batsman in an ODI.
Big score for a Netherlands team to chase, and they've been a bit flaky recently with their county players not being made available for this set of games (Scotland also scored 380 against them in Utrecht last month).

If Marnus was in better form, he'd have edged a couple of those to the keeper already

Cracking crowd and occasion, perhaps another data point for the idea that at least a facet of test cricket’s future ought to be a Wimbledon style knock out tournament in England each summer
