This one perplexes me. Our economies HEAVILY rely on China. They need our business. (Okay, the Party aren't the nicest bunch of dudes.) Doesn't it make sense for us to all just get along?

Is actually appalling the way they are all willing to demean themselves.
She had a choice between being sacked or towing the line to stay aboard the gravy train. Arch-grifter that she is she took the money.

They are aggressively expansionist and responsible for a lot of the cyber-warfare, disinformation, and misinformation targeted at the West through social media.

That in fairness hasn't changed with this latest, that was already a thing, and certainly confirmed when Trump welched on the deal Ukraine made to surrender their stockpile (or the stockpile that happened to be in Ukraine)

Despite the thumbnail, Pete doesn't feature. Just a refreshing take on DoD issues from someone who actually speaks clearly.

Excellent - I wish I could have seen Pete's face whilst this guy spoke but there again those big sentences and big words might have confused him!

A LOT of really serious stuff going down internally in China recently. Purges, power shuffling. Just where the next version of the CCP ends up who knows. But the key issue is that if Xi has his way Taiwan certainly is on the cards - but Xi may not get his way.

To keep this on fred, I don't for a moment think a Trump led US will have any real stomach for a shooting war against a peer foe and the economic fall out.

Trump saying live on TV that Israel and Iran 'don't know what the fuck they're doing'.

One of the signs of dementia is the use of inappropriate language in social situations.

The video. Having a tantrum that no one takes him seriously? Fucked his chances for a Peace prize by ending a cease-fire 2hrs later (and after bombing a country without a declaration of war).

Can only assume he's trying to butter him up to keep him onside with support for Ukraine, there's not much other explanation for so much kiss-ass. And Rutte uses appropriate language for the manchild...

 That's hilarious. Anyone with a few braincells can tell Rutte is just mirroring Trumps behaviour in a horribly exploitative way (I approve wholeheartedly for a man in his position). If you did that to that degree to a 'normal' person they'd be offended that you were taking the piss out of them. Good old Donald though sticks his chest out and is so proud of receiving that praise that he has to publicly gloat about it.

And the MAGA crew take it all on face value!! You couldn't make it up.

My assumption was that it's a fake text.

In other news of the tango twat, his nobel peace prize nomination has been withdrawn. I'm sure there'll be an imminent Truth Social tanty.

In fairness to him, he actually has a valid point there.

They've made him look like the impotent clown he is, & that's all there is to it !

It's always just about him, the rest of the world doesn't exist except to fawn over him.

Why didn't he get this frustrated when Putin made him look like a fool ?

Have to say, all in all, it’s a remarkable bit of work from Trump.

Isreal degrades Iran, US blows up the nuclear facilities (maybe) and then he gets a ceasefire. It’s quite incredible.

Could all go tits up in the next few minutes of course, but Netanyahu seems suitably chastised
