Argentina deserved it - AB's deserved what they got. Brilliant stuff from the Pumas.

Passion, Power and now the execution
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true.”
Their rise has been a joy to watch; and I’m so happy that SARU was able to play some small role in it.
Don’t get me wrong, the Argies did all the work and deserve all the plaudits. Just glad we were able to give them the opportunity to shine.
From dominating the Vodacom Cup and Currie Cup First division with the Pampas, to the Jaguares’ rise through the ranks of Super rugby to finalists, to their inclusion in The Rugby Championship where they have now claimed a scalp from each of the other 3 nations...all I can say is a massive congratulations to Argentina and all they have achieved.
This wasn’t a fluke, it was long overdue.

I was thinking this was about to kick off soon so haven't watched, glad sky go has an instant replay..
Terrific achievement for the Argies though. Congratulations, and to do it away on neutral soil with a mountain of pressure in no buildup, covid riddled etc.
It's about as good a fresh scalp you could possibly get.
Well done, I knew it was coming eventually, never would have expected it under the circumstances of today though.

For as bad as the All Blacks were, Argentina were excellent. Take nothing away. This wasn't a narrow victory, it was completely comprehensive. Can't think of an area of the game where Argentina weren't superior.

Well done Argentina.
Much the better side today.
Be sure to wear your raincoats. The Jaapies are wanking. You did what they can't do. Beat us.

Congratulations on the win and the competition points. Fully deserved.
While Foster is a goose and we played poorly, and rightfully there will be recriminations (and I hope sackings), your boys rose above any of that and won comfortably, making the result beyond doubt.
Enjoy.

Congrats Argies! An amazing defensive performance for the whole game!
Under the circumstances kiwis were talking about 30-50 point wins with no thought to the fact you guys might have been working your asses off to be game fit, that work rate was first class
I look forward to many great battles ahead
oh and please play like that again next week! win or lose keep that game constant and you'll get a RWC win soon

The S15 helped Argentina rugby a lot. They have to sacrifice a lot being away from home. Making the final last year gave them the confidence needed. Anyways that's not the point, the importance is the future. Australia and New Zealand closed that door. Hopefully South Africa will accommodate them like in the past.

I’m working night shifts and had to wait to watch a recording.. massive effort right from the start from los Pumas and a serious quality game from them.
Their fans all have good reason to feel proud and the passion in the stands matched the ferocity the players were clearly feeling. Great to see.
Typical of the other mob who are strutting around beating their chests and trolling the ABs being beaten when their Union chickened out and would come to play. The Argies are clearly honest manly men who deliver the goods. The other mob are just a bunch of shouty tag alongs who scatter when deeds over words are called for.

The no loss ever record vs Arg is gone forever, it hurts like hell and you're struggling to come to terms with it. It's ok to lash out. We understand.Shanky’s mate wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 3:55 am I’m working night shifts and had to wait to watch a recording.. massive effort right from the start from los Pumas and a serious quality game from them.

If I'm not mistaken, South Africa took rugby to Argentina. I think they are quite similar to us in style, in your face the whole time, trying to dominate physically. If they can control that aggression, they have a great chance to be strong contender in World Rugby.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sun Nov 15, 2020 6:37 pm The S15 helped Argentina rugby a lot.
