It’s difficult for England with all the flights that come and go, not like some out of the way destinations. For instance, even Atlanta has 2,500 flights handling 275,000 passengers daily.

I like the fact that he put the player's welfare first and did not buckle under pressure.
Argentina haven't got the strict Corvid-19 rulings like South Africa. He used the Etsebeth conditioning as an example after his injury. He could played immediately after proper conditioning. Our lot had to stay at home and couldn't condition in a group.

PC rugby supporters obvious don't understand this.

12 Damien de Allende (Munster): The Springbok world champion is a strong contender for the title of the best centre in world rugby and his directness in both defence and attack was an integral part of Munster’s stunning win in France. Elsewhere, Robbie Henshaw (Leinster) and Mark Atkinson (Gloucester) were also pivotal in their clubs’ wins.
Doing well up North is our Damien.

Correct, De Allende is a very effective player if you build the crash ball around him.

RG Snyman's injury was very unlucky, he is an absolute freak. We are blessed with great locks, I think Eben and RG should start, that means you have players like Lood and Mostert not making the run on 15, that's crazy.

Nothing better than watching a lock that offloads instead of going to ground when making contact.

Great player. Hope he is still fit by 2023, where I would use him as a bomb squad sub.

Galant/Fassi, Nkosi, Skosaan
Green, Stean Pienaar, Keyter

De Allende, Am

Morne will be any coach's pick before Willemse, soos 'n betroubare ou bakkie. Willemse breaks down every 50km.

Good call on Rudolph. Willemse is number 4 on the list for flyhalf. Also left off Curwin who I believe should be third flyhalf. I would also add Elrigh Louw to backrows. Not to sure who will make up the prop numbers. Guess K left out Nyakane.

Every single flyhalf from Every other team in the comp is better than Willemse. Unless you talk about quotas well then he qualifies for 4

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: SA Rugby’s future could be in serious danger predicts Chief Executive Jurie Roux.

According to various media reports, Roux stated the sport would be on the road to ruin if the new television rules are implemented.

In a public hearing on Thursday, The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) proposed the removal of exclusivity of broadcasting rights in South Africa.

ICASA, established 21 years ago, tabled that broadcast rights should not last longer than three years and that the rights should be split between multiple packages and broadcasters.

However, ICASA’s proposals have been vehemently fought by SA Rugby and the Premier Soccer League (PSL) – with both organisations stating that exclusivity was at the heart of their financial operations.

The two sporting entities and ICASA had a public hearing on Thursday in regards to the finding on the Subscription Television Broadcasting Services Inquire.

*Also read: Broadcast regulations will ‘kill’ rugby
Commenting on ICASA’s proposals, Roux said if the proposals were to go through, it could put SA Rugby on the road to financial ruin and that the remedies would make the professional component of the sport no longer viable.

“If the regulations go through in their current format then we may never see a day like the 2019 World Cup win again,” Roux said.

“SA Rugby needs to produce compelling content that is commercially viable so we can develop the game from grassroots level to winning national teams. We are 99.7 percent self-funded – we get only 0.3 percent of our income from the government – and broadcast rights bring in R752 million,”

During the SA Rugby presentation, Roux pointed out that broadcasting rights make up 58 percent of their current income, while TV exposure brings in 26 percent.

“We are in financial difficulty, having made losses between 2016 and 2018,” Roux stated.

“We recovered a little profit in 2019 on the back of the World Cup and we looked forward to capitalising on that, but no-one could have predicted what happened in 2020.

“Covid has pushed us into survival mode and had a massive detrimental effect. We’ve had to cut our budget by R1.2 billion. It has made insolvency a real and present danger. We’re on the brink, and if we had not been able to capitalise on broadcast rights, we would have been bankrupt by now,”

He added: “Exclusivity is the main source of our revenue and with less money, it means there will be less rugby until we have to close our doors and only have club rugby. And then nobody will be interested in the game,”

A deal like this will have serious implications for the monopoly rugby’s long-time partner‚ MultiChoice (SuperSport).

ICASA said the draft document could be amended and further submissions can be made in the next fortnight.

DSTV should allow a subscriber to pay for only the channels that hey watch. I think of all the channels we probably only watch about 5, one being the rugby on SS211.
With internet becoming a bit cheaper and faster people are cancelling their DSTV and getting NETFLIX. Also the constant repeats are killing.
DSTV needs competition, it ain't coming from the SABC .

I Just knew this would come back to bite us in the arse....how can you give up a relationship that gave you money for another that hasn't generated a cent yet and is costing teams a fortune to keep and get players.

Just waiting for the begging bowl to come out because that's what we have become.

There are so many good online streams these days, I don't even use Rugbypass anymore.

The DSTV model is so outdated. The sooner they move to pay per view or online streaming, the better. Otherwise their days are numbered.

Just bookmark https://www.viprow.me/sports-rugby-online and check on match days. You've got to navigate your way through a few pop-ups and dodgy links, but once you get through the matches are good quality.

Yea I feel like I have to format my laptop after a busy weekend. I had no idea there were so many horny single ladies in my area.

The only other option I know of is to pay $20 per month for Rugbypass if you have a very good VPN.

If you maximise the screen you don't see all the banner ads. Add blocker helps with the pop ups or else you'll have to hunt for the correct X to close them, can be a bit of a bitch.

Me too. DSTV/Sky still kicks the arse of any Netflix/Prime/streaming service for speed and ease of use. It's expensive, but it's worth it.

BTW Sky UK broke up their sport packages in 2019 to allow you to only pay for what you want to watch. HOWEVER if you want more than 1 sport across various channels eg. Rugby + Cricket, you have to pay for everything including Kevball which costs the most. Total con.

If you only watch Rugby, you might get lucky.
