Me too. DSTV/Sky still kicks the arse of any Netflix/Prime/streaming service for speed and ease of use. It's expensive, but it's worth it.

BTW Sky UK broke up their sport packages in 2019 to allow you to only pay for what you want to watch. HOWEVER if you want more than 1 sport across various channels eg. Rugby + Cricket, you have to pay for everything including Kevball which costs the most. Total con.

If you only watch Rugby, you might get lucky.
Was surprise when my laaitie told me that they black out UK areas with the Premier League. According to him we are lucky in SA to watch all the PL matches. I never watched soccer in the past but now really enjoy it.

Agreed. Supersport shows all the sport I watch, rugby (SA, NZ, France, Eng), international cricket, F1, Moto GP, golf majors and tennis grand slams.

It's spread across 3 different UK providers now, so it's an expensive mess for fans here. Also no matches on Saturday afternoon before 5pm because they want fans to go to live games across all 5 leagues instead (obviously impossible in lockdown)
I never watched soccer in the past but now really enjoy it.

It's a sport I've really tried to get into, but just can't ever get myself to enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, they are amazing athletes and I can appreciate the skill in what they do, but I just find the whole thing so boring.
I think in my whole life I've probably only managed to watch 3 or so matches and all 3 were in 2010.

Same, and even then I don't really watch it attentively for the full 90 mins. It's more a "on in the background" or "check what the score is every 10-15 mins" type is situation.

For Rugbypass you need to set it to a city in Asia. I used Hong Kong. Do the free trial to see if you can get by, as after a few months they figured out my VPN.

I have been walking line with my laaities hockey. Soccer defensive and attacking lines is pretty much the same as hockey. Their use of space is so much better then rugby. The best thing of the English Premier League is the competitive of the teams. Any team can lose on a off day . Obvious I hate like all rugby/hockey supporters the diving in soccer. I'll rather watch Premier league soccer then NH/Aussie rugby.

Because Rugby and soccer have very different offside rules. BTW there's no offside in hockey.

After watching 6 Nations looking forward to the Lions tour.

Wales by far the best team. England and Ireland backwards from 2019. France will beat these Lions.

We can be our worst enemy in the series.

France is the team up north that have improved the most. They will be very strong at home in the next WC.

The others has gone backwards. Try to copy the box kick Bok plan.

I don't think it's that simple. All teams go through a period of change after a world cup, for better or worse.

England have arguable changed the least and seem insistent on sticking with the same team and same gameplan since 2019. Although they did look much better on Saturday.
Wales were dreadful last year and are going to win the grand slam, they've definitely improved.
Scotland have also improved, even if they have last their last two games, I think it's the best Scotland team I've seen in years.
Ireland are starting to get back to their winning way, but need to decide if they stick with Sexton.

Nailed-on (kind of maybe?) starting XV for the Lions:

1. Steven Kitshoff
2. Malcolm Marx
3. Frans Malherbe
4. Eben Etzebeth
5. Lood de Jager
6. Siya Kolisi (I assume)
7. PSdT (if fit)
8. Duane Vermeulen
9. Faf de Klerk
10. :wtf
11. Makazolo Mapimpi
12. Damien de Allende
13. Lukanyo Am
14. Cheslin Kolbe
15. Wille le Roux

Excuse me. Their lot won the u20 WC for the first time a few years ago. They met England physical and play with flair like they always do. Bet you they will be very strong comes the next WC. They can be like Jake White 2007 WC winners.

The ref got England through on saturday at Twickenham.

I don't even think he's training again yet. We may need to start planning without him. Who that is, goodness knows.

At least in other positions we've got depth. But who the hell replaces Pollard?

Nah. Like winning can become a habit, so can losing. The politics and fighting within the squad has always hampered them.

I do agree tho that picking a young team without ego's will be their best shot.

This is a very very different French team. Probably the youngest and most talented squad I've ever seen. Shaun Edwards has sorted our their defence and they are much fitter than before.

Yep. 10 is our biggest weakness right now. Without Pollard it all goes belly-up.

There is talent in the pipeline: Jantjies, Bosch, Willemse...but they are all flakey players with close to zero BMT.
I'd almost draft in Morne Steyn, just because I have so little faith an any of those guys.
