Just switched on and seen the score. Wtf has gone on in that first half?
The old combination of one team being very good and the other being utter shite.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 8:54 pm Just switched on and seen the score. Wtf has gone on in that first half?

Should have reversed the pen for that imo
Nah, the neck contact came before he went into touch. Barnes was so desperate to not call it high. Still not sure it was a penalty try but Barnes had to be cajoled into giving the penalty.
This has been dismal by bath.

775 to 118 metres made. They will be adjusted, but that's insane
45 missed tackles is quite impressive tooMargin__Walker wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 9:36 pm 775 to 118 metres made. They will be adjusted, but that's insane
edit: Priestland made 3 and missed 7

Yep, that's not pretty either.
That's all she wrote. That was a nasty game for Bath

It's not entirely clear where Bath go from here, the last couple of losses weren't great, surrendering leads, but this was abject.

Second half of Saints - Glaws has been a lot better so far, a few nice tries scored.

A BP win after 5 weeks without a game must be pretty welcome even for our curmudgeonly Northampton crew?
Looks like Exeter only squeeked past Worcester.

Glaws look like they’ll need a miracle not to finish bottomsockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 4:38 pmTrue, but baby steps on the road to improvement.

No self interest in them pressing for no relegation then.SaintK wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 5:04 pmGlaws look like they’ll need a miracle not to finish bottomsockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 4:38 pmTrue, but baby steps on the road to improvement.

It's win-win. Relegation and bye bye Glaws. No relegation and Sarries can stay down.
I would have settled for a losing BPsockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 5:01 pm A BP win after 5 weeks without a game must be pretty welcome even for our curmudgeonly Northampton crew?

Or there's no relegation and the prem is expanded.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 5:13 pmNo self interest in them pressing for no relegation then.SaintK wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 5:04 pmGlaws look like they’ll need a miracle not to finish bottomsockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 4:38 pm

TRP linking Dean Ryan to the Quins job this morning. Sure that would go down well.
Sarries are still a shareholder in PRL and I read somewhere that Trailfinders could "buy" their way in if the price was right and the RFU would rubber stamp it.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 8:32 amSeems a highly unlikely scenario with Sarries backhanded dealings. Everyone is screaming congestion and concussion so it would be
a hard one to justify.
Fuck the lot of them.
Who am I to complain but my instincts say I hope that doesn't happen.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 8:37 am TRP linking Dean Ryan to the Quins job this morning. Sure that would go down well.

Rugby seems incapable of learning that unsustainable spending is what got us all into this mess. Post COVID is going to be very interesting.

Teams for the pick of today's games
Pretty strong, best we can put out between international call ups an injury list that now includes Bassett . Our Watson brother managed to tweak his achilles last week on his return appearance which is rotten luck.
Quins look pretty well set to me, how they react to Gustard's departure will be interesting.
Being at home I reckon we've got maybe a 10 point winning margin in us.

Don’t think that’s a try but superb start from Quins. Pace of play is excellent

Sopoaga needs to fucking go. His defensive play is deteriorating and he's not doing anywhere near enough in attack to mitigate.
Good fight from Porter to try and hold him up, but ultimately that's a really well worked try finished off by Care.
It's early days, but things look bad for us at this point. Quins are on fire right now.

Morris lucky to get away with that deliberate knock.

I don't think he touched it which is really lucky for him.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 3:29 pm Morris lucky to get away with that deliberate knock.

Louw was scrummaging under the Wasps hooker there. Ouch!

Wasps are going to need to stage the mother of all comebacks. I thought we were getting over the need to have Launchbury and Robson on the field to know what we're tryign to do...
Fair play to Quins, though, haven't seen them play like this in a while. If it were against someone else it'd be nice to see.
