Better a lucky winner than a plucky loser
We missed Ritchie more. Blade was looking lively before he went off but he's no JR. Gary Graham was an offence to rugby when he came on. Ritchie was a huge miss.
So I squares up, casual like.
Yeah I get you. I was massively disappointed he missed out.

As you would expect, the rest of the Welsh lads are great

Iโm a bit annoyed with myself because I normally nail this kind of thing. But, I canโt make my mind up if you are a single 30 something that canโt get laid or a 50 something in a deeply unhappy relationship.clive wrote: โSat Feb 13, 2021 9:15 pmBoring cunt fucking wake up.Slick wrote: โSat Feb 13, 2021 8:53 pmHeโs just a little softcock who turns up when they winUncle fester wrote: โSat Feb 13, 2021 8:47 pm Top frothing.

Would love to know!

Whichever the saddest loser version is thatโs him
Isnโt it just? Was the same last week - the control we had of the game was such that we should never have been in any danger of losing at the end.
Well done Wales - you took your chances and we didnโt. The red card was incidental in the end,

Really hard to identify why and I guess that's why Sco coaches haven't been able to fix it. At any one time it might be
- poor discipline (I'd suggest the most common fault)
- bad decision making
- poor handling
- lack of confidence
- lack of composure
- injuries
- plain bad luck
His hatred of all things Scottish would suggest he is the bastard child of some ginger borders lad who had the misfortune of shagging his 10 pinter, valley commando mother.
It's not poor discipline - last week Scotland conceded 6 penalties (IIRC) all game, and England could still have snatched it. Ditto poor handling - it used to be an issue, but there were hardly any handling errors over our last two games.Torquemada 1420 wrote: โSun Feb 14, 2021 2:04 pmReally hard to identify why and I guess that's why Sco coaches haven't been able to fix it. It's too consistent to be simply down to bad luck, though there has been some in the mix.
I think the issue has always been in the players' heads - a combination of lack of confidence and lack of composure. The former seems to be coming back gradually, but the latter is still an issue. We looked composed as anything v England though, bar one or two moments.
I think part of the current issue is that we've transitioned from all-out attack every game (which gave us some memorable wins but was easy for other teams to counter once they wised up) to a more controlled approach based on defensive solidity. The defence is much better (best record in the 6N last year I think) but it's been at the expense of attacking invention. I think the plan now is to reintroduce some of that, but that's where injuries come in. James Lang is a decent pro, but Cam Redpath he ain't.
