As soon as he lost control off his hands forwards it's a knock on unless he somehow regathers?
Nope, it has to touch another player or the ground.

Yes.
A knock-on occurs when a player loses possession of the ball and it goes forward, or when a player hits the ball forward with the hand or arm, or when the ball hits the hand or arm and goes forward, and the ball touches the ground or another player before the original player can catch it.
Makes a change for the knock on decisions to go against Eng.

Yeah, he might get another pass one day.

Ambiguous. It doesn't appear to cover it going backwards off another part of the body. I know that referees will call a knock on if you lose control but somehow manage to hack it forward thou as it wasn't a deliberate kick

Once you lose control of ball forward, you have to regain control of it don’t you?
I don’t know the answer but have they treated it as a normal kick? You throw it forward, never have control then kick it

I’ll take being 3 points down given Wales have been gifted 14 points. If we can do this it will be epic

Daly should've positioned himself better for the pass to May before he was tackled.

Eng have this, within 3 with 2 tries going against them that half. Wales can't get that lucky again in the second half unless Farrell or Sinkler get Red carded early on.

Notice how none of us have mentioned we’d like the ref to get killed though, so there’s that

I really don't want to stick up for him but he had a point.
I don't think he does. His team could have been set for a penalty.
Nah, not when the ref has told you to talk to your team. You've got to give them a chance to do so.
Fair cop. Seen it again.

Nigel unhappy with that one as well. Reckons the ref has seen the English players on Wales's right leaving the huddle without giving those on the left time to get into position.

I don't know the rules on the 2nd try can't the beeb find them? But the first is possibly the worst top tier reffing event I've seen. Absolute clanger, brain fart, incompetence.

The difference there is one of those two knows what he's talking about, but can be accused of national bias, while the other has zero interest in rugby except that it allows him to pick up a nice BBC pay check a few times a year and is talking out of his arse as per.
