Nope, it has to touch another player or the ground.Saint wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:22 pmAs soon as he lost control off his hands forwards it's a knock on unless he somehow regathers?

Makes a change for the knock on decisions to go against Eng.A knock-on occurs when a player loses possession of the ball and it goes forward, or when a player hits the ball forward with the hand or arm, or when the ball hits the hand or arm and goes forward, and the ball touches the ground or another player before the original player can catch it.
Yeah, he might get another pass one day.

Welsh kicking around the breakdown is abject.
Ambiguous. It doesn't appear to cover it going backwards off another part of the body. I know that referees will call a knock on if you lose control but somehow manage to hack it forward thou as it wasn't a deliberate kickTorquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:27 pmYes.Makes a change for the knock on decisions to go against Eng.A knock-on occurs when a player loses possession of the ball and it goes forward, or when a player hits the ball forward with the hand or arm, or when the ball hits the hand or arm and goes forward, and the ball touches the ground or another player before the original player can catch it.
I don’t know the answer but have they treated it as a normal kick? You throw it forward, never have control then kick itYmx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:22 pmOnce you lose control of ball forward, you have to regain control of it don’t you?

And Hardy takes at least 7 secs each time.

Clock's in the red. Knock on in the build up. Time for a scrum!

I’ll take being 3 points down given Wales have been gifted 14 points. If we can do this it will be epic

Daly should've positioned himself better for the pass to May before he was tackled.
Eng have this, within 3 with 2 tries going against them that half. Wales can't get that lucky again in the second half unless Farrell or Sinkler get Red carded early on.

I am luvvvvvvving all this English whining about a ref. Hand back the 6N trophy and then we can talk about reffing decisions.

Even Warburton. EVEN WARBURTON thinks the first try was a joke. Pathetic stuff

Notice how none of us have mentioned we’d like the ref to get killed though, so there’s thatTorquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:39 pm I am luvvvvvvving all this English whining about a ref. Hand back the 6N trophy and then we can talk about reffing decisions.

Nigel unhappy with that one as well. Reckons the ref has seen the English players on Wales's right leaving the huddle without giving those on the left time to get into position.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:39 pm Even Warburton. The difference there is one of those two knows what he's talking about, but can be accused of national bias, while the other has zero interest in rugby except that it allows him to pick up a nice BBC pay check a few times a year and is talking out of his arse as per.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:46 pmAnd Gussett is saying the reverse.
