That accolade's been Worcester's for a couple of weeks, but I know what you mean, it was an enjoyable irony.

Handy result for Glaws and Exeter can't have many complaints, they didn't offer a whole hell of a lot in attack for most of that game after the opening quarter.

Paul Burke getting a mention on the commentary - gave me a nice memory of my Grandad taking me to the Stoop in what was in the end his last trip to a live game. He made sure Burke noticed I was trying to get his autograph after the game, once you factor in inflation that signed mini ball must be worth 50p now.

Happy times

Not a good way to re-enter the game for Earl, ball ripped off him by Care who scores in the corner.

I really want O'Connor to be tried at 12 for England, he's always where you want him to be, makes his tackles, is quick and deceptively strong.

Good half of rugby that, both teams going at it full bore and executing for the most part.

Yeah, I like O'Conor.

Certainly advantage Bristol so far, they're winning the gainline battle, keeping our front row quiet especially, and we've not really managed to threaten their ball at the breakdown too much. Great contest so far. Radradra is a freak, Smith hit him with a great shot and he still gets the magic offload away. Happy he took half an hour to get into the game...!

Some curious officiating at times and I'm glad he missed Marler straight in at the side the ruck before that final 3 points. That call on Brown when Uren kicked it straight out was absolutely mental.

Teams for LI v Bath about to KO. Bit of a reuniion for a few guys, with a ossibility of JJ lining up against his brother late game. Fancy the Bath pack to be the decider though. Especially that bench front row.

That was a great bit of recovery from Uren. Sinckler owes him a beer.

Not sure it was necessary to take the droppy there under advantage, but it was nicely executed.

Huge scrum and a very useful pen for Quins. Given the flow of the game at the moment I don't see Bristol getting 12 points to secure the draw in the time remaining.

Little bit annoyed all this comes from Thomas knocking on when he went for the loose ball

Why bother to check the try if you’re going to give a penalty try anyway?

You have to question what the AR is doing there, it was pretty obvious

Probably the same guy who thought Brown carried the ball out in the first half.

And yet again a tight game involves minutes wasted at a scrum. Stop the clock ffs

17 - 13 to LI at HT in Brentford.

Decent game so far. Couple of cracking tries for Irish. Loader dancing through a few tackles to go under the posts for one and Rogerson finishing another in the corner after Parton ran a kick back through the Bath defence from the LI half.

Muir with the try for Bath. Spencer looking very good for them. Probably should have had another, but Cokanasiga was brought down by a brilliant Rona cover tackle after a break by Spencer. Ewels picked up a yellow the kind of head hit I've seen reds given for recently, with the mitigation that Loader was sidestepping.

Worcester v Saints is a bit of a cripple fight so far. Saints have declared tackling optional and Worcester not good enough to take advantage. Saints perhaps undeservedly lead 15-7 at half time due to a cracking Ollie Sleightholme try just before the break.

Sinckler looks like someone just bought him a puppy. Something inevitable about that try

Also probably the guy who thought he saw a clear grounding on that try (I think he probably scored it, but there's absolutely no chance the AR saw it)

Parton finishes a length of the field effort for LI, following an earlier Watson try for Bath

Dunn red card for an elbow to the face.

Edit - And Loader with the BP try in the corner

Sale blatantly pull the maul down and get rewarded with a scrum instead fo being penalised and then get a penalty from said scrum despite basically putting the ball into the second row...

Bath have completely lost their heads. Muir yellow for taking the man out in the air and Ewel finally gets his red after a second yellow for a shoulder hit off the ball.

Bath down to 12 men

Charlie Ewels - what a fuckwit.

Dunn forearms Creevy off the ball in the face - straight red
Muir does an agricultural lunge and takes a player out in the air - would have been red if he'd landed differently. Yellow card
Ewels right in front of the ref just shoulder charges a player off the ball for his second yellow - Red card.

All in about a 3-minute window.

Mental. He's the captain as well

Against 12 men, but another lovely length of the field effort by LI finished by Rona
