A star wars filum with a bleak ending. I really enjoyed it.
Technically gorgeous and suitably gritty, but got bogged down with terrible character development and fan service.

You don't care one jot when the final scene plays out because we don't really know anything about them. Was fine but could've been spectacular.
True but I had really low expectations, it being star wars.

Touche. Was a precursor to better things.

Loved Mandalorian and have Disney for a month so will give the three latest series' a whirl.

They both talk about their heart issues on the show. And still eat cake!

I enjoyed it, I thought the cinematography was good, the stunts were fun, the story was well-constructed with a fair deal of pathos at the end.

It may not have been the best of Craig's outings, but I thought it brought his tenure to a satisfying end.

On The Old Man, we're enjoying it, but you know it's going to go on, I just hope it doesn't turn out like 24, which went from an account of one day to about six weeks.

Well, so far (up to Ep 4) the relationships between the protagonists are changing and evolving as you learn more about how they are connected

Enjoying the old man and the peripheral. Really looking forward to the devil's hour! From the trailer it looks almost like a seriously dark doctor who spin-off! Either way, really like Capaldi.

Finished The Rings of Power. Good in parts, brilliant in others, lots of meh. Absolutely gorgeous to look at.

Rewatched Moon Knight. Still amazing.

Loved She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. A massive fuck you to the gatekeepers and sad little incel twunts. Marvel knew they'd never win them over, so they gave them the middle finger every single episode.

Couldn't get past the first couple of episodes, just way too slick and stylised for my liking. Much preferred Top Boy - wish they'd make a new series.

As is the way of a lot of anthology stuff, there are a couple of dud episodes, but overall a good series. I think episodes 2 (Graveyard Rats) and 5 (Pickman's model) were my picks of the bunch.

Slow Horses is great. Gary Oldman's having a whale of a time being irascible as Jackson Lamb. Jack Lowden's really good. As an aside he looks very much like a younger, more handsome Simon pegg.

Gave White Lotus a shot. It's pretty good, but there's not really anyone to root for as almost all the main characters are awful one way or another. I've no idea why Jennifer Coolidge's character got to feature in both seasons, easily the worst part of both.

I've watched Slow Horses from S1 E1 up to where we are now almost on consecutive nights. It's right up my street, and Gary Oldman chews up the scenery every time he's on camera, in a good way.

I thought Lowden reminded me of someone, I think you got that right, there.

edit, also, Kristin Scott Thomas is good as she always is

Frostily authoritative as probably befits someone high up in an intelligence agency. Good to see her still getting plumb role outside of France.

I've just wrapped up S1, looking forward to starting in on 2 tomorrow.

We watched the first episode of the SAS thing, but my wife thought it was far too Boy's Own, so I'll have to go ahead on my own with it.
