Highly improbable.
Well, I think you'll find that I suggested that, if we were to have the sort of redress that the laws of probability dictate, then there will be a streak of toss-losing, probably starting with the England games.
We'll find out soon enough.
I found you suggested that "the amount of times the Indians win the toss at home seems improbable", when in fact the last decade suggests absolutely nothing of the sort. You could just admit you made it up!
I didn't go back ten years, that I will admit.
I thought that my reference to South Africa's last tour to India gave some context to my comment.

What was the bit about "if these things average out they're due a long sequence losing the toss" then? You over-reached. Instead of just moaning about how you lost every toss in a short series, you tried to expand it to "the amount of times the Indians win the toss at home seems improbable", which is just flat-out wrong.
Besides, it was a 3-match series. Losing 3 tosses isn't exactly unheard of. Australia did it when you beat them in Oz in 2016. India - despite your insistence that they're "due" losing the toss - have lost the toss in 7 out of the last 8 matches, including 3/4 against Australia.
In other words... don't be so conspiratorial all the time

de Kock is de kak as captain.
the captain asks for a review This was a length ball that pitched wide outside off, but jagged back in, stayed low, and hit him on leg stump. But this is going way down leg, and SA have used up all their reviews

Pakistan lower order making a mockery of the Proteas attack.
I must say that Darryl Cullinan gets a bit irritating.
Listening to him explaining the importance of mental toughness is laughable.

Yes, my father would be turning in his grave (if he wasn't cremated). He could never see why a slow bowler should overstep.
It was an extremely tight no-ball and it could be argued that he did have a millimetre behind the line, but it wasn't the first transgression.
Our catching was up to maggots, too, with four or five chances spilled. Difficult chances, maybe, but still...

Indeed, but our batting is where we need to improve most! Can't keep relying on Elgar to get us out of the shit. Need Markram, Faf, VDD, De Kok and Bavuma to get more consistent runs.

Don't you bloody start.
Wait until England lose all the tosses in India and have to bat last on a minefield. Then we'll talk.

Time for our batters to show their worth. This situation is made for Elgar, a scrapper of note. Now we need one of my favorite players Markram to show why he is so highly rated and play a knock of substance.

Tongue in cheek : We've become so shit at bowling to the tail, I almost feel that we should pick Tahir (retired, I know) or Shamsi (injured, I know) just to mop up at the end. They are just very average at bowling to the top order in tests.

Just blocking the whole day is not going to get us anywhere, the pressure is just going to build. 14 runs in the last 10 overs.

fell asleep during last nights 'highlights' package of the days play. De Kock's captaincy it abysmal. The first LBW review would've missed another 2 stumps it was so far outside of off. The one going down leg from Ngidi was even worse!

I agree.
It's far better to be all out for 120 and lose by an innings by being aggressive than to give yourself a chance of making them bat again by being reasonably watchful.
Where did you learn so much about cricket?

Hundred up.
With only the one wicket down.
Which must be terribly disappointing for Handyman.
Darryl Cullinan seems to be trying very hard to precipitate van der Dussen's wicket with over-effusive praise.

Not sure what you're getting at, with me being a Protea fan. Let's hope Markram kick on for that big ton.

Perhaps his brother should be commentating.
Listening to the abbreviated hilights before the play and when Wassim celebrates Markham's dismissal, he says to Cullinan "You called it!".
Cullinan made himself persona non grata to South African cricket coverage when he said in an interview that blacks were "inherently" ill-suited to playing cricket. (Not sure what explanation he gave for the Windies).
From what I can see, the commentary is controlled by the PCB and he is the only South African on the team, so they probably trust him to toe the PCB line.

We're screwed. De Kock batting has gone to shit since he was appointed captain. Maharaj has not kicked on from a few good performances a few years back. No backbone in our batting line-up.

We'll see.
The Pakistani quicks were pretty dangerous as well.
I suspect our quick bowlers are a reasonable match for the Pakistani quicks, even if our spinners aren't.
88 is a little light as a target and I suspect the slow bowlers wouldn't get much of an outing anyway: the target will either be achieved or the back of the innings broken before de Kock turns to spin.
