I had a perfect one of myself from the top of Elidir Fawr many years ago. It would have been a stunning photo even on my Instamatic. Left the camera in my car and it was stolen the next day. Bugged me ever since.

The world's population has reached 8 billion. When I was born in 1960, it was just over 3 billion. The population density then was about 20 people per square km; now it's 52.

Weirdly amateur presentation here from one of the big name professional sailing outfits, Team Emirates NZ have been working away on a side project between Americas' Cup campaigns... the designed and built a high speed land yacht and broke the world speed record....
