I'm going to be interested to see how it plays. Does it draw out some sympathy for him? Does a very light brush make him look strong in the eyes of the voters, and help cement his general covid-downplaying message? Does him having to shut the fuck up for 2 weeks and stay away from people actually help him?

The polls seem to be showing Biden leading from anywhere between 3 and 9 points in the majority of swing states, so there is already a sense that Trump is losing...does this further increase that sense he is on the slide and going to lose. Americans love a winner, and Biden seems to have good momentum.
