Wilson's been a prick for some time, I'm not going to blame anyone for getting sick of him. Care was a hothead on the pitch when he was younger so I'm not surprised he reacted you a guy known for his carrying on off the pitch as much as being a cunt on it.

I think that over states it all a bit. He is not known for carrying on off the pitch, that was a bad night, I don't defend it, the only other stories I know about him are pretty caring ones, ones where he's looked after and befriended foreign players who have come to Glasgow, they've become part of his family and shared Christmases and other times with them.

To me at worst he comes over as a guy who will get under the skin of the opposition on purpose in order to put them off their game.

I don't recall him being sent off for gouging or any such shithousery

Like I said, I've heard otherwise, plus it's pretty well known that he was keen to keep the shit going with the England players quite some time after that incident. Allegedly he made a prick of himself loudly booing anything to do with England at the world rugby awards.

He was very lucky to get away with gouging Hughes, that ruling was bizarre. He escaped a ban for grabbing someone's balls. He's constantly acting the cunt on the pitch. He's stamped on players on the floor.

Looks like a duck, etc

The booing was talked about on the podcast now that you mention it, I can't remember what was said now, but it could well have been one of the things that wound Danny Care up

I think it's easy to believe the worst in people for some reason, I have no horse in this race, I'm not a Glasgow supporter beyond them being a Scottish team, I'm just saying what I've heard about the guy, and that is that he is a good guy off the field.

On the park he's abrasive, never backs down but I can't honestly describe him as a dirty player

edit - I looked up the booing, a journalist who was there at the dinner said both teams did the same thing, booing the other.

This is all a bit Andy Murray and Tim Henman mucking about, taking the piss out of each other as mates do. Only one of them became a bigot in the "perceived wisdom"

That's one way to hold a ball up with a tackle... Glaws vs Bath.

Anyone watching the Saracens match?

Fucking criminal negligence that Eddie Jones let the Welsh poach Nick Tompkins.

I've heard Wilson on that podcast. Seems like a tedious knob who thinks he's a lot funnier than he is because he's got a wide boy accent.

Commentators saying that the back row and Ewels have been good. So, er, who exactly is to blame for the 50 point spanking then?

Jamal Ford-Robinson being set away for a 20 metre run down the wing when his team are down to 14 says an awful lot about Bath.

Nah. To be fair to them, he's had a couple of really good game for Wales and a lot where he's looked out of his depth. I'm surprised as I thought he would go a lot better at international level.

In fairness I'm not sure how much of that falls on him and how much of it is down to Wales dreadful attack coaching and musical chairs midfield selections over the last couple of years.

How is Hooper still drawing a salary, that team is a disgrace, and he has a huge amount to do with that.

6N champs in 2021, but sure, they're a bit of a basket case anyway. The same can be leveled at England so I'm not sure it would have gone any better for him there.

I can’t think of any other club tolerating such poor performances for so long without taking action. That result has made me genuinely sad. Obviously great for Glaws, but it’s horrible seeing a team brought so low and absolute misery for Bath fans.

Tompkins might be half the size of Esterhuizen but his carries and defensive hits are brutal. Good distributor as well.

MVP Red Card. We all know what was said about that Championship and they went from that to 5th and being Italy's sole win this year.

Yeah, we're crap. Just not quite as crap as Wales.

Agree. It gets even worse when you look at the quality of the players. That is a team full of test players.

Hooper must have some serious managing up skills.

The animated conversation between Dunn and Hooper at the end, and Cipriani smirking as he walked off suggests that the club's fucked in a very real and significant way. Needs a big clean out at every level, including I suspect Craig.

Bit of a ding dong battle in Brentford. Wasps probably with the edge up front and in defence, but Irish look absolutely lethal if you give them a bit of space.

What's the h-cup qualification for next season? Is it top 8 or top 7? Heard top 7 from BT?

Great game, Wasps must be kicking themselves. Arundell is a very special player which means Eddie wont go near him.

Feels like a loss. Fair play to Irish for never giving up.

By christ do England need to cap Arundell sharpish.

Nice to have very different options at 15. Steward had a decent match at the weekend as well.

He coughed up the only high ball.ive ever seen him take, which obviously means I must now question his abilities under the high ball 🤣

I did sigh at that point and think this really isn't going to happen today. He's actually serviceable under the high ball. Took a couple of hard contested ones on Tuesday night. That said he's absolutely not Freddie Steward on that front and will spill a few.

Can be a touch hesitant in defence too, which can be worked on.

All that said, he's absolutely the most dangerous player with ball in hand I've seen play for us for a long time. He seems to pull some sort of rabbit out of the hat every game he plays. The sort of kid you'd like to see on the bench for England asap as outside back cover if you need to chase a game.

Yeah, forgot where I read it, but he's apparently pretty freakish in the gym for an academy back. Shifts big weights etc. Probably gives him a more of head start than a few lads who come up from schoolboy rugby.

He has a similar shape to Dupont. Very powerful.
