Aussies doing a great job in denying the Boks any forward momentum.

Last move showed SA can really play when wanting to.

Couple of great defensive tackles from Oz there.

Boks really throwing the kitchen sink at the Wallabies and they are holding on beautifully.

Thought there was head contact on Galant earlier in the movement. No replays so far. TMO must think it was fine.

I don't want to say the whole game changed when Dweba went off and Marx came on...but it is not coincidence.

Ominous on both line out and scrum now.

Rugby is a hard enough game to watch live as it is. Watching it in a stadium where you are sitting another 20 yards from the play must be utterly shite.

Third time is the charm for Pollard. Boks finally on the scoreboard.

I swear Am has some form of precognition.
It's impossible how he always finds himself where the ball is and then it just bounces into his hands.

Kick-offs still a concern for the Boks, but at least getting some momentum from the poor Aussie lineout and strong Bok set pieces. Let's see if that continues now that Dweba is back on the pitch.

FFS Dweba.

First lineout throw skew.
Second...marginal. Looked skew to me, but ref let it go.
Third...won by the Wallabies.

Scrums:
First one a free kick against the Boks
Second one reset twice.

I've been his biggest cheerleader on this forum, but I think it's clear that he is out of his league at test level.

Momentum was firmly with the Boks for the 10 mins Marx was on, and went away the moment he went off.

I think we can end the Dweba experiment now

Tom Wright yellow carded for cynical play in the red zone.

Great play by Vermeulen. Old wise man milked manufactured that card with the quick tap.

Agreed. He needs a stellar URC to be in contentiion for the Boks again.

Need to get Grobbelaar or Akker vd Merwe into the mix in the interim.

Old man Vermeulen showing why he is still firmly part of Nienaber's plans.

Galant really not gelling well on the wing today.

Sigh...why are we so bad at converting a penalty advantage into something genuinely threatening?

We always just kick it. Why not try something high risk and creative?

Indeed, but the Wallabies are just relentless in infringing in the red zone and getting away with it. 9 penalties now.

Another card?

What a spectacular save.
The dithering mess that has been the last 20 minutes certainly needed that.
