Oh absolutely. Its the part of the whole thing that is the most horrifying. She used her femininity, her intellect, charms, graces and social status to entrap and groom Epstein's victims. She was critical to the success of his operation because she disarmed the victims making them more compliant and easier to manipulate.

My understanding re Andrew's involvement is that it did not break any laws, as odious morally as it may be. There are rumours of big establishment figures Stateside who might be caught up in this if the omerta is broken, from all sides of the political & social establishment (Clintons, Winfrey for example). All of this, I only have 4th-hand of course, as I am not following it at all closely.

Hence a question: how did it take so long for them to arrest Maxwell? She seems to be at the centre of a lot it, and quite clearly so.

I asked the same question, but the implication is this lady Virginia Roberts was underaged in the jurisdiction at 17 years old.

In what sense did it take them a long time to arrest Maxwell? From when are we counting, and what timeline are people assuming should have transpired?

From when the Epstein story broke and everyone was talking about how Maxwell (and maybe others) helped him - i.e. a long time ago.

There's an interesting confluence between the NE & Epstein.

One which get's it's owner prestige & influence, by doing; "Catch & Kill", on potentially career killing stories; & another involved in setting up exactly the kind of incidents, that fed "Catch & Kill".

Of course any involvement between these two, would constitute a Federal conspiracy charge on top of all the other illegal shit that was happening; & everyone in the conspiracy would be facing the same kind of time that Epstein was !
