Quins fucked up but it’s laughable what MH had to do this week to get a card vs the disastrous yellow Quins had last week. We don’t exactly deserve to go through and Marcus Smith fluffed a try and a kick but Adamson basically let Montpellier cheat their way to that.
See my previous post. How that clown gets appointments beggars belief. Glad I switched off because bad enough seeing MH succeed when they are trying to win. Pity they don't get Leinster next.
Well, I wouldn’t want to have to cheer Leinster on.
Me to 5 yo “well you’ll just have to cheer Sale in the next round because we’re not in it”
5 yo bursts into tears: “but I don’t want to support Sale”
So that’s cheered me up at least.

Just seen the score. Either PSA has suddenly become a genius or Quins f**ked up against a side looking to lose without getting pinged for looking to lose.

I'm pretty sure that he and Karl Dickson have both been fast tracked beyond their ability due to being former pro players.

You need to send him to Uncle OS for a few weeks where he can serve in the scullery as part of work experience and class education.

Exeter are going to get humped, one English side left in the competition which is about right given the shite state of the national (mens) game. Btw, i dont count Sale as English.

Exeter are getting ruined at the breakdown because Raynal refuses to enforce any of the laws there.Hands on the ground first, second man in, no clear release - it doesn't matter.
They need to reciprocate.

Classic Fre, T14 rugby. UBB field a 2nd string and are down to 14 men after red on 27 minutes. But can a Fre side work the space? No. It's all crash into contact, easy to defend, all slow ball.

That is actually spot on. But, England were always strong when Leicester were strong (chinks of light etc).

Now that they've caught the rhythm of what's permissable at the breakdown, Exeter are back in it.
Murray's being a whining little gobshite.

He is right, but it's the carry on after the official says "I didn't see anything" and he's experienced enough to know that extended whinging isn't going to get it reviewed. Not that a ruck technicality can be reviewed except as potential reason to rule out a try.

The men's game is fine in England. The league is competitive and well watched. The Scottish, Welsh and Italian teams are never going to be competitive when their better players and coaches mostly leave or want to leave so you have a league as competitive as the bundesliga minus the history.

One penalty in the second half, which the commentators adored, saw POM make a tackle, then the Munster 7 dived straight over the tackled player, and prevented Exeter from competing at the ruck by being on his hands and knees on the Exeter side with the ball between him and Ewers.
Penalty to Munster.
"Great decision" says BOD.
Genuinely ridiculous how differently French refs approach the breakdown.

I only saw the last few minutes of the Munster match but saw a ruck where De Allende went straight over the ball with his hands on one side of his tackled Munster teammate and he looked like he was on his knees on the other side. Like a kind of dog position over the ball!
