Shanklin is so one eyed.
Really poor compared to Flatman in the last game
Welsh language on Amazon quite critical of us.

I was delighted to learn just now that you can choose `Stadium FX under subtitles and audio on the prime web interface and it turns off the commentary (you just get the crowd and ref mic). s'lovely

Flatman is fine until it's tight in an England game
I wonder if they are coached that way?
John Barclay was painfully neutral but last week against Fiji he did a lot of the homer stuff too.

It must be in the broadcaster handbook somewhere that partisan comms is a good thing. Hence why we're subjected to Austin Healey when Tigers are on BT and Dallaglio for Wasps or Andy Nichol and Jiffy for 6N coverage of their respective teams.

My usual line is at least it doesn’t affect what happens on the pitch,

There was one game in the 6N a couple of years ago that Barclay looked like he was ready to lamp Guscott in the pundit's box, with Gabby holding the coats, that would have been worth sacrificing a broadcasting career for.

I remember that one. Getting rid of Gusset is one of the better recent Beeb decisions.

Not sure what Argentina plan is for the last 20 mins. Kick it and get tackle practice?

Quite, strangely subdued for an Argentina side. Bit too much emotion last week

Yup, old cliche but they do thrive off their passion and maybe used it all up last week

Happy to see that punished, it's particularly obvious example, but players get away with far too much grasping for the ball while they're on the floor.

That was mental - a 50/50 ball in the goal area ends up a ruck on half way in about a second

As far as we know. I suspect it's not the case with any of those involved, but a male presenting player could identify as non-binary.

That's a weird thing to get annoyed about - you lose nothing over it just being "player", but it's a small gain for progress and inclusivity

Faletau had more of a Welsh accent than I anticipated.
But he moved from Tonga when just 7 years old.

I don't know it for a fact, but why else would they moved away from man of the match other than to prepare for that sort of possibility?

Mako Vunipola still has a fairly noticeable accent and he moved over to Wales when a little older than Faletau, but only lived there for a couple of years before moving to England. Meanwhile, Billy has no trace of Welsh.

It makes for consistency with the women's game, I guess.
I mean, they are all rugby players aren't they? That is what they are being judged on for that gong.
