Dunno what he's having a strop about. That couldn't be anything other than a yellow at minimum.
Irrespective of the reasn, not having him around will probably improve England. He's been lumpen the last couple of games. No surprise to anyone but Borthers I'd wager. He's a player that needs minutes in his legs and he spent most of the camp time on the rehaibilitation list, he was never going to hit the ground running.

These Red cards are probably going to force Scabnose into picking a better squad than he'd otherwise deliver

Sad but true.
Also mitigation as the other player was on the other side.

The ref will be banned from the World Cup and the IRFU will have to put a full page apology in the Times.
Seems England have been practicing exactly that tackle technique this month.ScarfaceClaw wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 5:46 pmLeading with the shoulder to head, arm down by the side. Zero attempt to wrap. Clear red.

True, but selection really is the least of our issues. The commitment to playing fuck all rugby and being shit at the aspects of the game we are bothering with trump any iffy picks.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 5:47 pm These Red cards are probably going to force Scabnose into picking a better squad than he'd otherwise deliver

Youngs off and we look like we've got some fluency even a man down. Some coaches might learn from that.

Keith Earls arriving on the pitch is the highlight of this game so far

Keet's looking a bit like the black Zebo. Unflattering shirt or has he been at the buffet during camp?

Steward is soooooooooooooo slow.
For all his aerial prowess, it's useless in a kick chase because Atonio would get there quicker.

White Zebo is looking trim on the sidelines and sounding absolutely scathing about England in the commentary box.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 5:56 pm Keet's looking a bit like the black Zebo. Unflattering shirt or has he been at the buffet during camp?

Ford's "tracking" back there was criminal. No interest at all.

Argentina will be rubbing their hands with glee if this is how England are going to be playing in the WC.

England commit two penalties in the build up to that try, and look completely clueless.

Irrelevant. They both get a bye from that pool.ScarfaceClaw wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 6:03 pm Argentina will be rubbing their hands with glee if this is how England are going to be playing in the WC.

That gets the score to something approaching a reflection of the sides dominance.
Sorry England fans; been there & done that from being a supporter watching the coaching / selection /development car crash.

That's a bullshit call. Steward got his knees to ground
I've been fairly bullish about Argentina being the only threat in our pool regardless of how shit we are, but I'm increasingly thinking we could go down to Japan. Lose a man against them due to a shit high tackle and they could run us off the paddock.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 6:04 pmIrrelevant.
