Despite being born in Wales, the ref doesn't seem to like them a lot.

No spectacularly bad calls against them per se, but all 50/50 calls going the way of the Boks.

Also all 25/75, 33/67 and 1/99 calls.

Agree.

If they were really unsure, they could've awarded a penalty.

But it should've been a scrum red.
Moodie never touches it, if you watch the ball there's no deviation in its flight. Wales player then knocks on. Which means Bok scrum if deemed non-deliberate, or Bok penalty if deemed a deliberate attempt to prevent a try, taking the Wales player out of the equation doesn't mean Moodie scores for me. Pen to the Boks seemed the correct call, which was an option Brace was saying he was going to go with, before he upgraded to penalty try.

We definitely want to avoid Brace at the RWC, he's erratic.

Unlucky as fuck.

1 penalty try that shouldn't have been.
2 rather lucky tries.

I think the Boks are still slightly better on the day than the Welsh, but the score would've been much closer, and a closer score could've motivated the Welsh to up their game.

*And another intercept try. I'm crying on behalf of Welsh supporters now.
Slightly better? Fuck me. That should have been 70pts.

Overall not a bad performance from the Boks.
Marx
Kolisi
PSDT
Kriel
Moodie were super.

Penalties and Money's kicking are a big concern.
The penalty try played no part in the result.

Wales were ok, considering the players.

Wales ok? They were kak, not even on URC level.

SA supporters, really this was a team thrown together by Wales to give every player a game.
It was a training game for us. Yes we were terrible and disjointed. Gatland wanted to blood all the players and it's clear a few will never play for Wales again like the last match
In response to whether or not it should have been a pen try.
The answer is no there have now been swathes of pics posted on social media and items which show that before Dyer pushed the ball back it was a green hand that knocked it on.
How that was missed is appalling.
That said roll on Fiji....

Farrell's card was a shoulder to the head, one of many we have seen from him in recent years.

Willemse's was head on head and the ball carier was dipping. I don't recall ever seeing this from him.

So not exactly a like for like, but I thought he was a bit lucky not to get a red.

Willemse was going upward in the tackle so no mitigation....I reckon we dodged the proverbial bullet because his 10 minutes in the bin was more than the minutes left in the game.....

I saw it exactly like AF but you are so obsessed with Willemse, not worth to reply to you. Farrel did a tackle, Willemse not. The opponent run straight into him head first.

It would have been a slightly different score with Biggar, Williams and Cuthbert starting.
But their pack are woeful. I think Georgia could beat them.

So much silly conjecture.

If Willemse was going downwards when the Approaching players went down there would be mitigation.

I was just curious to see if we would protect our own like England protects Farrell. Distorting the law to suite our ends. Willemse unfortunately is the example.

So Farrell should be let off

Of course there was mitigation Sards, you cannot compare the two. Anyway, the bunker review did not find reason to upgrade to a red. Nor the citing officer afterwards. So just stop.

Ja I don't see how you can compare them, totally different tackle techniques by players with different records.

Willemse was quite passive in the tackle. Farrell's shoulder was brutal.
