Can the kiwi troll kindly piss of this thread, thank you. As in duck off.
Not trolling. The Boks, while definitely one of the strongest teams at this World Cup, have an obvious vulnerability. It’s a calculated risk on the coaches’ part and can go either way… as I said, Ireland could easily win. Of course, so can SA.
This is the Rugby World Cup. The games belong to all of us as fans. Insisting someone leave a thread is ridiculous… brittle and precious behaviour. That’s your great flaw and weakness. Perhaps you think your countrymen should stay out of the AB threads as well… good luck with that argument.

Happy if you want to talk about the game, the Boks or Ire Guy, but you leave your trolling of saffas for another day ok?

Too close to call and too much down to fate in a game like this. An injury, a card, a missed call… all of those could decide it regardless of how they play.
It’s going to be a fascinating contest of styles and discipline. What would be hilarious is the idea of Sexton having a brain fart, gobbing off to the ref and costing his team the win.

That's one of my biggest fears, big game like this and the card lottery makes its appearance. If it's clear and obvious foul play then so be it, but please let's not have a player sent off for something which would normally be considered a rugby incident. It will ruin the test.

Luckly I can't view twitter post were I'm at. I did not say I think we'll lose. I back the team to deliver the goods even if they're not wearing their Checkers kit.

Why are there so few highlighter greens on this here board? The few who qualify disguises themselves as purple people eaters.

Mapimpi was more important than Kriel in shutting that move down. And good job he did too, because if he was inches slower off the line the pass would have gone before Kriel got to Ringer (Edit: actually I think it's JOB).

Boks by 15.
We've topped the group in 2 of the last 3 world cups. It's KO games that are our problem, not group games.

You know who I am and who I support. Won't green. See it as like stars on jersey, a bit needy.

True enough, Mapimpi was often the one ending moves in the other videos I posted, he's a good defender. Kolbe is left wing for this one, so that'll be his job.

What would the Irish even put there? A 1/4 cup with every year?
Speaking of that I need to update my I.D

That's World Rugby mandated, Kiwis/Aussies/English have it too. World Rugby has fucked our jersey for RWCs. Cannot have the Bok on the chest because they only allow three emblems on the chest (World Rugby's, shirt sponsor, national union's emblem). Cannot play in green and gold because of the colour blind, end up in the Checkers jersey. Cannot put the flag on the right arm, because there needs to be a shopping list of RWC wins.
It's becoming quite funny. Wondering what rules they're going to invent next, I was already at "I'm out chief" when the Bok was on the sleeve.
Regular Bok jersey >>>> RWC Bok jersey.

Nah, the world cup jersey is much cleaner. No big fat MTN or ABSA or whatever flavour of the year on the front.

Why are you so scared of us then?
Pin-point cross-kicks, wrap-around backline moves, refs in your pocket. It’s terrifyingly scary out there.
No mention of Cannon Arms?
I am disappoint.

Beating NZ over the last few years really isn't the mountain climb it once was... under Foster the ABs have slipped badly and anyone with a critical eye should be able to appreciate that, while at the same time other international teams have taken a step up and improved.
As I said to Love of the game yesterday, it's too hard to pick a winner in this one. Presenting that video clip of ROG isn't me backing Ireland, it's a fascinating chat between two solid rugby men that offers a load of insights, not just about this coming test but about the game in general. It's well worth a watch.

Watched it last night, actually enjoyed it very much. Big Jim's a very good interviewer and I was actually very impressed with ROG. I better understand now why he's regarded as such a good coach. Very interesting watch.
