I’m just skeptical it will change behavior, and would just mean that every other tackle will now be sanctionable.

But I suppose for me the problem in question is the litigation that surrounds every bit of contact, rather than the contact itself. Debating the legality of a tackle or the merits of a card is like half of any discussion of a game now. It sucks.

Scotland should be pleased with this overall I think. Not a perfect performance but let’s be honest it’s hard for Tier 1 teams to really get their tail up against a Tier 2 side. They’ve stretched their legs a bit and have had some nice passages of play. Mission accomplished IMO
