Not sure there's any separation. Try.
That was my thought. Think the on field decision swung it. If the on field was try I don't think those angles would have been enough to disallow.

That's just terrible from Carley. Completely dismissing the suggestion of a knock on until Dickson steps in. Even if is a try it's poor refereeing.
He didn't dismiss it, he just wasn't taking Finn's opinion. He had no sight and asked his AR as he should.

Not sure about that. His initial suggestion was try and he shut Russell down even though he is entitled to make a point. It looked more like Dickson deciding he had to intervene.

If he'd said on field decision is a try, I'd agree, but he didn't, so he clearly didn't know if it was a try or not and planned on checking.

We need to stop celebrating Ireland's mistakes and try to play some rugby of our own.

Penalty for that yet when the ball pinged of Furlongs chest to an Ireland player in front it was just a scrum.
That was a penalty.

Fagerson should get it on the next shove over, breaking first.

Absolutely no time to react, yet the Irish player was allowed to catch it.

It's a penalty because the player actively tried to catch the ball.
McCarthy just had the ball bounce into him.

POM actually came across from the side there in front of the Ireland ball carrier and took out Scotland defenders before contact.

Happened a few times this match, particularly when the Irish backs have the ball and doing the clearing.
Need to adjust and do the same tbh
