That's how you defeat a blitz
Overthrow, random fly hack, fly half at full back, Daly on the wing? It's elaborate, but effective.
I was think more; identify the space & use the blisteringly fast backs you have & rely on their hunter instincts; but your way works too

Feels a bit like England emptied the gas tank making the comeback. Subs haven't really provided the extra impetus so far. France winning the physical battle easily again in the latter stages.

See. There was a huge gap there between Ford & line, but instead of pinging a ball in the gap, he hoofed it too long to Ford.

Not a fan of where the game is going on deliberate knock ons. Far too hard to try something without getting penalised.

Yep, lets be honest momentum swung entirely when the wholesale front row change happened.

The comms got it 100% wrong, if it is knocked up the way it can be seen as a genuine attempt to catch the ball, but it was knocked down. They said it the other way

Brilliant from Ford & Smith.

Ah well. Good French tries though they should have been going into this with one win. Extraordinarily jammy tournament.

About as pleased as I can be with a loss. Needed to be a bit more accurate to take the win.
Massive improvement from the start of the championship though.

The difference in play between the first three games and these last two is bewildering. Pleased to see it, mind. Feels like we've finally turned a corner.

Just need to move on a few more players. The likes of Dan need a bit more experience. A massive improvement in the last two matches.

Some silly mistakes, and ('neutrals' feel free to pan me) I thought France got the rub on a fair few bounces, otherwise we could have had that. I'm far from convinced Earl's indiscretion at the end was a worth a penalty but them's the breaks.
Lawrence at 12 is looking increasingly assured, and Freeman just looks a very, very good rugby player.
