NZ trolls like AC and Ted who clearly feel smug about their success in dealing with Covid are simply no longer relevant to any discussions involving our domestic game. They will desperately and persistently insert themselves into this thread but are best ignored. Sayonara losers! Its been real!

What a strange post. "Sexual pleasure", that's a great troll line mate, well doneFangle wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 7:17 pm To my mind AC has a very nasty streak, despite being an excellent analyst of AB’s rugby.
Years ago he used to start threads with the subject of “Let’s laugh at X’, the losing team. And also he admitted that he gets some sort of sexual pleasure in winding people up. And too often we rise to his blatant bait.
Fyi, on a completely different forum, laugh @ threads were very common 15-20 years ago. Not sure what relevance that has to this discussion?

You won't be able to do so because you're being dishonest. You are lying.
AC do you really think they want to be honest about what is going on. Some of our sides have a dismal record against NZ teams in Super Rugby. They are hoping for an easy ride against NH opponents where they believe they are going to walk into the competition and dominate from the start. Get trophies and be the greatest team in the world. Although its clearly been shown that this will not be the case. So by giving our ex partners the middle finger they get some perverse satisfaction in being able to say that they got one over the auld enemy. And of course will gloat about it and start insulting the likes of yourself creating narratives that show you in a poor light.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 12:21 amPlease post examples of me trolling "aIds and Corvid crisisse".OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 3:08 amThat's so weird. Me personally. I enjoyed watching the Sharks destroy the Kiwi sides, and in turn getting drilled on the odd occasion. But I never ever wanted to drop my standards in the hope of making my team appear better than they are . Nor do I feel a need to insult and belittle my former opponents. We forget that were it not for the competition that the Kiwis afforded us we would not as a nation combined be able to hold up the WC trophy. Although we lost to NZ in the group stages.

reports. Rich white countries like Australia have secured enough vaccine for 4 times their population number. South Africa has been allocated enough to vaccinate 3 percent of the population. So my elderly parents will be denied it because of the greed of you guys. So as you so charmingly put it we'll just have to continue living with "the plague".

But mainly , for not acknowledging that the reason South Africa has so little and limited stocks is because of our greedy politicians who stole all our relief funds.

Sensible words Sards, worth repeating. It has been a shame how some people have reacted to the competition break up. Watching games in the middle of the night was hard but there was always something special in facing South African opponents. There has been a bit of point scoring from both sides but I hope we are both not the poorer for this.Sards wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 4:49 amAC do you really think they want to be honest about what is going on. From the first link in google.Premiership clubs look to increase the overseas player quota next season to field more foreign stars as Brexit puts Kolpak players at risk
From December 31 a number of players from South Africa, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa will lose their right to work in the UK as the 2003 EU Association Agreement will not apply at the end of the post-Brexit transition period. ...
Under the existing rules Premiership clubs are limited to having two overseas players in their 23-man match-day squads, and over the course of the 22-match campaign they must have an average of at least 15 English qualified players in their squad to qualify for a bonus paid by the RFU as part of the Professional Game Agreement. ...

I'm not at all happy with SA no longer being part of a 'club' competition with Straya and NZ. I very much enjoyed going down to Suncorp to watch the Reds play Saffer teams (and typically get beaten, altho' I wasn't necessarily happy with that result).Jb1981 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 6:07 amSensible words Sards, worth repeating. They should loan their players out to the SA Franchises. The Sharks could do with some extra grunt in the pack.FRANCHISES: Top English club Saracens is hoping to organise matches against South Africa’s top four franchises that will be playing in the PRO14’s Rainbow Cup.
According to The Rugby Paper this proposed series of matches against the Bulls, Sharks, Stormers and Lions will take place before the South African teams compete in the Pro14’s Rainbow Cup, which kicks off on 17 April and concludes with a final on June 19.
Saracens will play in the English Championship (second division) this season after being relegated from the Premiership due to salary-cap breaches. Such a series of friendlies for Saracens will ease England coach Eddie Jones’ fears that several of his star players who are with Saracens will be underprepared for the Six Nations which is expected to start early in March.
It has been reported that Jones plans talks with Saracens about top England players Maro Itoje, skipper Owen Farrell, the Vunipola brothers, Jamie George and Elliott Daly.
With the Currie Cup final being played on 23 January there would be sufficient time for the South African sides to fit into Saracens’ plans as the Rainbow Cup will only kick off on 17 April and conclude with a final on 19 June.
However, the rugby load in South Africa’s combined Super Unlocked and Currie Cup competitions, plus the mooted Saracens game each, followed by the Rainbow Cup of seven matches and a possible final, and also the probable introduction into the early rounds of the new PRO16, will no doubt be weighed up carefully by the four franchises’ coaches and the Springbok coach Jacques Nienaber.

The WP could use Farrell at 10 etc etc.

They probably would have had a better case to make if they had finished higher in the Currie Cup.
I'd like to see them drop one of the Italian teams from Pro16, and then do some sort of relegation system.
