Waratah created a Yahoo page of QP and a detailed and amusing description of multiple of his personas. It was great reading. Of course Globby, as the great archivist, will have a backup of it.
It was on Geocities which is sadly no more, but still available on the web archive: linky here
Fuck that brings back some memories

I cannot believe what I just read on the geocites link. QP was an absolute lunatic. That PM from his multi Overu, is just a true thing of beauty
On the plus side I just wasted 2 hours of work.
Dude, he was a complete nutter-butter. There were a bunch of weirdos on here in the mid-to-late 2000’s. Coogee (Aussie) was another. We had RubberSTAMP...very abrasive but genuinely interesting guy. I can’t remember his full bio, but he was a true believer SACP supporter. White guy with a working class background. He was convinced Zuma would save the ANC and South Africa
But QP and Coog were on a different level.
Also had some high quality trolling back then, and some proper funny posters.

Have any Boredies tried to explain QP/Coog shenanigans to partners/non-PR friends?
I tried with Fliddy once. Probably won’t try again

Is that your pet name for your missus or do you mean you tried to explain Fliddy to her?

I'm not sure it's possible to explain Fliddy. I think there's still a couple of videos on YouTube but can't be arsed looking for them.

Ahh Fliddy. What a thread that was!
Never really tried to explain much of what goes on here to anybody outside of the bored. The only threads that I shared with people that they seems to enjoy was Sad Muppet’s Head-to-Heads before big test matches and also his Danie Rossouw Tour Diary. They were very well received. I might still have some of those. I’ll have to go look on an old flash drive.

Who was that masked man? All I can recall is something about chins and China. Didn't he do a Fliddy tribute song on YouTube as well?

Did ToiletDuck do Fliddy? I recall it was him doing the body building forum trolling, but I thought Fliddy was somebody else?

I have a brother like that - if he died (he may even have for all we know) we wouldn't post anything about it.

That is my recollection as well.
Chins did Fliddy, ToiletDuck did the body building forum trolling.

Two Poulsen’s claiming to be his sisters have commented on the original post that announced his death.
i actually mentioned that 6 posts up.... no mentions of funeral or anything in that whole post either..its like his family is ashamed of how he died... odd..

Well, they mention that he's dead. You still seem confused about that point.

its pretty easy to use facebook accounts of people who are not that active on facebook if you have access to them somehow..post anything, disable notification and if that person uses that account again, they would have no idea of the post they made..

They are probably in NZ - he is/was in Turkey. How the hell are they going to post about funeral arrangements.

Could've been how he wanted it.
Guess we'll never know...unless stemoc uncovers "the truth".

One is in New South Wales, apparently. Went to school in Aussie too, but no evidence of a NZ connection and not a ranga.

Just a bit of perspective about Facebook posts - I would imagine siblings have probably other worries and upsets than to worry too much about making their social media all up to date . Grief is a horrible thing and makes priorities messed up, I wouldn’t read too much about what the poulsen family may or may not have posted.
No doubt it will surface if he did indeed take his own life , it’s a bit sad anyways even if he was not especially nice person.

Especially in this covid 19 world where travel is virtually impossible. In normal circumstances you'd expect to travel to the country where your sibling passed away to either arrange the funeral or perhaps repatriate the body depending on their last wishes. Right now it's impossible. Very sad.
