John Blain on TMS - a real blast from the past. Remember watching him at Northampton a number of times.

A wicket near-maiden eases the heebie-jeebies a little.

Milne is back to give it the heebee-jeebees again. Six hooked into the stands.

I mean he is being carted around by an associate team - does anyone wonder why he doesn't get the 'props' many believe he deserves. Being fast isn't enough.

NZ should....SHOULD.....win it from here. But it has been an awful performance.

Guppy has basically won this himself!

Wow - that was awful from NZ.

No way they are winning this tournament. Afghanistan are looking at this performance and fancy their chances of finishing 2nd in the group.

NZ have gone completely off the boil.

If nothing else, it’s fecked our net run rate.

Afghanistan win the toss and will bowl first. I want a close match with an Afghan win and then completely bottle it against The Crappers.

Afghanis in their anthem lineup all so very sharp-nosed.
Quite a striking look.

Oh no.....I've just realized. For NZ to have a better chance of going through to the semis - then India need to win this match.

That is disappointing.

^^^ When Williamson and Conway mustered just one run between them I realised that if we lost and then Afghanistan beat India we would be out on run rate alone.

Pleased with that performance from Scotland. Proves our right to be there as much as anything else. Hope we can get a couple more good performances in over the last two games.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

Ind 135/0 after 14. This could get big.

Two good overs, 2 wickets (both the set batters) and the score stalls.

Think India might be disappointed by their final score. They were on for a 200.

175/2 with 12 balls to go...

25 from 12 is doable.

Afghanistan, not Bangladesh.

Their NRR from their first three games is 3.097, thanks to their substantial win over Scotland, which could prove useful if they can't get close to India's total.

Apparently, Afghanistan will need to score at least 91 runs to stay above NZ on NRR. As they are now 13/2, that looks like it might be difficult for them.

Afghanistan no show in this. All on for that game against the Crappers.

The loss of Ferguson is going to be too big a hurdle even if we go thru though. Milner is simply too expensive

Having safely negotiated Afghanistan, which we have yet to do, India's run rate at the end of this game will be interesting.
They could well thrash Scotland.

Afghanistan's NRR reduced to 1.481, so still above NZ for the time being.
