Bulls look terribly lethargic.

When did they travel?
Got there midday Tuesday. So I guess Monday evening.

Absolute cunt. His bank accounts should be checked. Smith and Van Snail have been appalling and so slow.

Edit: And his instruction to kick everything.

Benetton are the whipping boys in the league, them and Zebre, they got to this final beating sides fielding kids. They do try to play good wide rugby, but they don’t win.

Why do teams fielding kids in this league?

The Rainbow Cup was a meaningless competition as soon as the restrictions were brought in, the teams up here used it as a good excuse to blood young players, build for the future.

The actual league is different

Rainbow Cup was a test run for the United Cup (PRO16) running from Sept 2020 to June 2021.

The teams will be back to normal for the league next year, ie the United Rugby Championship, there is European rugby to qualify for and the league itself to play for.

This competition was a one-off

Didn't see the match but the result isn't a huge surprise to me.

The hype around the Bulls in recent months has been ridiculous, perhaps they started to believe it themselves. Fact is, the rugby we've been playing in SA recently has been utter shit and they've been the best of a bad bunch.

Let's hope this is a wake up call for the Boks, otherwise we're going to get thumped.

It's not unexpected for the Bulls to choke abroad. That's their weakness. Unable to travel. Same at the Lions and Stormers. Keo said the Bulls were our best option.....sad really

Superrugby show in the past that's not a good comparison.

50% of our expected starting XV did not play in SA anyway.
