He's not going to get any better riding the pine; he needs playing time before the TestsSlick wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:44 am This is how to help rugby disappear in Australia, keep calling the tries back.
I hope Kinghorn gets a half at 15, Keenan has been gash so far

I mind in so far as it's pretty inconsistent with the rest of the globe. Antipodeans have a very different approach to foul play. They can whinge about the rest of us being soft, but if they want to play their own way they need to separate.Big D wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:44 am I dint mind them saying no foul.play but they are missing the fact he's in from 45 degrees?

Yep. Would have chalked it off if he hadn't just done one.
Very little legal about that. Arm tucked at a big angle.
Neither will Kinghorn.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:45 amHe's not going to get any better riding the pine; he needs playing time before the TestsSlick wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:44 am This is how to help rugby disappear in Australia, keep calling the tries back.

Anyway, it’s not really an issue, we have loads of options at full back. Apparently

You are soft.
Stick to playing touch on the beach.

Fair. The M.Smith experiment has hopefully been put to bed, but Dalys injury cost the team practice match time tooSlick wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:47 amNeither will Kinghorn.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:45 amHe's not going to get any better riding the pine; he needs playing time before the TestsSlick wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:44 am This is how to help rugby disappear in Australia, keep calling the tries back.

Fin just seems to be getting out of position after 2 or 3 phases for some reason. Several times Mitchell has looked for him and ended up having to give it to someone else standing still, it’s quite odd

Hansen didn't lot of the heavy lifting there too to be fair.
Think both props, Cummings, Earl (had a bad 5min giving away pens), centres and Hansen have been decent. Kinghorn.and VdF been OK.
Mitchell and Smith not quite clicking. Be interesting to see if Mitchell is penned into the test 23 or whether White has a realistic chance there.
Keenan has been poor. I cant see how Bierne makes the test 23 the way he's been playing.

Regardless of what you think about me, that would be called as at least a penalty 90% of the time by non-Antipodean refs. There's years of precdent at this point.Kawazaki wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:48 amsockwithaticket wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:46 amI mind in so far as it's pretty inconsistent with the rest of the globe. Inconsistency of officiating is a massive complaint about the modern game among both fans and pundits. The Aussies and Kiwis going their own way while still notionally playing the same sport as everyone else does nothing to help that.
Worth saying, as you know, I’m a big Keenan fan and had him down as my Test full back, but he, not surprisingly, is miles off herefishfoodie wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:49 amFair. Yeah me too. Before today I thought he'd start at 15 in tests too.Slick wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:54 amWorth saying, as you know, I’m a big Keenan fan and had him down as my Test full back, but he, not surprisingly, is miles off herefishfoodie wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:49 amFair.
