“It’s not the will to win that matters — everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” – Paul “Bear” Bryan
So the Sharks get out of bed and go practice together. Amazing dedication!!
That is exactly why WP and the Stormers are where they are.....watch the players ...they are defeated in the head before they play the game.....

I do realise its a difficult concept to understand....been saying it for years....mentally weak because of the fear of failure....if someone could work on your players mental state and you set a minimum requirement for intelligence.....well......you wouldn't really have a team would you.

But can we please stop making this about WP.....

I'm throbbing at the thought of it.

Having said that, I think it's unlikely as he's so early into his contact at Quins and he appears to have made a good impression.

Fok, a player running is in the air half the time! Might as well change the sport to non-contact cross-country skiing.

Oh come on now, it's not even comparable. Nohamba was completely prone: there is nothing admirable about hitting a player in the air who has no way of protecting himself, it was a total cheapshot.

Rubbish! WP player did really well to adjust and hit him in the guts. If he'd continued at his original height, he'd have hit SlowHamba's shins and flipped him onto his head. Then you could call it "illegal and a dangerous cheapshot"

Quality ref had a good look - ditto TMO - and both agreed it was fine.

10: Curwin Bosch (Sharks) – Player of the Week
Morné Steyn was a true general in his 100th match for the Bulls. He created the first try with a deft grubber and the only drawbacks were a couple of uncharacteristic missed kicks at goal. Bosch’s ability to slot kicks from inside his half gave the Sharks a 9-0 lead after just 12 minutes. His match awareness was highlighted when he landed a drop goal to give his side a 12-9 lead in the 47th minute and he guided the visitors to victory from there. Ended with a personal tally of 14 points, scooped the Man of the Match award and is our Player of the Week.
The Stomps laughed at this kid and insulted him time after time , lauding their own Wunderkind ......he had the last laugh....what a year....this kid is the real deal. Springbok of the future....sooner rather than later.

So in future they need to play slow motion to see that a player running with the ball and get tackle must have at least one foot on the ground.

Did you ever played rugby?

It's in the laws of the game.
Ref didn't have a look and neither did the TMO.
To be fair to Davids, I wouldn't have yellow carded him as it's the only thing he did all day. But should have been a penalty.

They call it a hospital pass for a reason. Blame your own player for not knowing how to pass. If we start penalizing players for that, we'll start seeing players jumping every time they receive a pass. Anyways you won the game so stop bitching about a nothing incident.

See my post above. Penalty only. Would have been an easy 3 points for the Sharks.

Just asking for the laws of the game to be applied fairly and consistently.

Also, the reason Notshe had do pass so high was to avoid the lazy WP runners struggling to get back into position. Another penalty that was ignored.

There was nothing wrong with that tackle. If the ref missed it, then he would have been sited.

Have to say that this moaning about the referees from the saarkies on here is leaving a sour taste in the mouth. I expect that from soccer fans, not rugby fans.
