Indian fans are quite strange.
Looking like a tired pitch, could be low scoring for both sides. Not my ideal T20 wicket but it is the sort of thing England often struggle with, so a good test!

Pant very very watchful, then out. Not the innings his team needed.

Such a bizarre innings - it is like some of them can't be bothered.

Yep - shows runs can be scored on it.
Interesting to see how the Indian spinners go on it.

It's a fascinatingly different sporting culture. Losing it over every single etc I just can't imagine ever doing. Wonder how they perceive Western crowds.

Yeah, obviously I think they're really odd but I do appreciate that it's not just more of the same that we get from Western crowds, and there's a whole heap of valid reasons why it's so different. They are pretty hilarious at times though.
Then again when you get down to it the Yanks are just as odd, so... vive la difference?

I went to a college football match in Austin once - so odd. Firstly the mere fact that 100,000 people were at a college game. Then most of them packed up at half time and went to the car park to watch it on the TVs they had in the back of the SUV so that they could have a beer.

So.....apparently the Indians were just rubbish in their innings after all.
Pretty easy stuff really.

Was well within reach but Morgan gone early so 4 down now.
Not sure how Billings is batting since he's meant to have dislocated his shoulder whilst fielding earlier.
{EDIT} Buttler gone 3 balls later. Classic Eng collapse in full flow now.

Stokes, unfortunately, shoulders some of the blame there. As soon as Roy got out, Stokes should've just been tapping some singles and letting Bairstow continue to do his thing. Instead he starved him of the strike without scoring any runs himself, then Morgan did similar and Bairstow ended up trying to smash one having barely put bat on ball for several overs.

That's kinda true-ish but Eng were well up/ahead of RR and so there was no need for Bairstow to do that when he did.

England looking a bit one-paced. It's a much lesser team without Archer and Wood, and Woakes is much better than Tom Curran or Topley. And we'll have to chase without Morgan and Root! Forget it Jim, this'll be a caning.
Some shitty umpiring so far, India doing well to review.

Big Sam, bless him, is a canny bowler, a bit of a golden arm, and a good option at the top of the innings... but he is not the guy who want bowling when a big hitter is on a charge.

Well, that was one of the strangest reviews of a catch I've ever seen. Kohli's bitching about England celebrating catches having its intended effect, presumably.
