Holy F. How many tries can this lot butcher. Must be some kind of record.

Having watched today, I can see why Farrell thought 10/12 rather than back 3 to replace Daly.

The Tah's player on the ground, scrambling around with the ball right in front of the ref

Well, that was hard work watching that match.

Not too encouraging yet.

Need to wrap JGP and Russell in cotton wool for the tests.
And we need a mobile backrow - no Beirne thanks.

Think we are all probably going to agree on the various performances today.

He’s not going to be troubling the Test team but really pleased that Cummings had a great game after his last run out.

I think Tuipolotu and Jones are going to be incredibly frustrated with the ball they were getting all evening and hope they get a run out with JGP and Russell.

In saying that, I’d be seriously considering telling Finn to go off on holiday until the 1st Test. As I’ve said a few times, I think the Lions are screwed without him

Acknowledgement that Cummings had a good game from Biggar
"Cummings was excellent in all the things that require no talent"

What an absolute wank.

They are more screwed if the forwards don't start winning quick ruck ball

Nowhere near Lions test 23...Beirne, Hansen Ryan Cummings, 23 spot at risk... Fin Smith, Alex Mitchell. Jury Out..Keenan, Kinghorn.

Lions attack clueless. If Russell gets injured, it’ll be a Wallaby Whitewash.

Nah, it's become a buzz phrase, it's getting up of the floor, getting into position and keeping going, harrying in defence etc etc kind of long hand for "work rate"

Well meh...well done Waratahs particularly the openside.

Possibly only Mitchell improved his Test credentials today

Agree, Warburton has been going on about coaches looking for players doing their basics well and how much that means to the team, think it was a compliment

Work rate was good agreed but but the buzz word is disingenuous who was meant to be running the line out today before Pollock dropped out, because he did that too?

He would also struggle behind todays forwards to be fair

Farrell is going to have some tough choices. Some players he may have expected to be favourites for the test 23 have struggled so far.

I would back Finn or any seasoned 10 to take control a bit better than Smith did today. We'd have seen more kicking.

Also someone needs to tell today's TMO he's not the main character.

What on earth has happened to Beirne? He looked awful. Keenan terrible. LCD a waste of a shirt. And where was VdF? Didn't seem like he was even playing.

Pollock looks much nearer to a Lions cap by not playing. So does Owen Farrell...

Wasn't the game he'd want but good to see Keenan play a Lions match. Been a long time coming for him.

Must admit I was thinking similar about Farrell.

Although is it coincidence that the worst team performance of the tour comes a couple of days after he arrives…

Individual performances aside the whole team seemed to struggle with no discernible game plan obvious. The lack of control from 9 and 10 and dodgy decision making made it a difficult watch. Set pieces were solid but the lack of cohesion was obvious.

The ref today was very poor. Though the Lions should have adapted to him

Finn Smith was poor today, failed to adapt to his forwards getting pwned at breakdowns - I am going to say it so the Scottish posters can stop painfully trying to be a bit more subtle than previous weeks. You are welcome.

VdM was really poor though
