The "machine" has broken a few parts. Does anyone seriously think we'd have won the ODI world cup without Roy, Stokes, and Archer? We're still a good side but we're clearly not unbeatable, as the Saffers showed, and losing Roy on top of Mills is a huge blow.
Yep - they are huge losses - but your recent performances have been without them. And your recent performances have been impressive. The SA result was perhaps a lowering of intensity due to a 'job done so far' attitude.

I don't expect them to be as sloppy as they were against SA.

Basically - if England play at 100% and NZ play at 100% - England will win.
The match we played without mills and with Roy getting injured, we lost.
I meant the performances in this tournament without Archer and Stokes.

And perhaps the SA performance was showing what Roy and Mills mean to the team - perhaps the English performance just dropped a level because the game had no jeopardy attached to it.

I guess we'll see in about 2 or 3 hours.

Good luck though - I hope we leave you as a quivering mess on the ground......but I still think we are going in as underdogs.

As KP has just said, that toss makes NZ favourites, though I'm not as sure as he is that NZ will win. Should be a hell of a contest, and I'll be really proud of England if they manage to win.

KP is an interesting guy to listen to about t20, way better than when he's commentating.

I've actually grown to quite like him. He reminds me of Gary Neville in the football - a bit of an odious character while playing. But really switched on with his observations and punditry.

Commentating - he is very much in the Danny Morrison camp - you either hate or love him. He's at his best when he is just chatting with follow players.

I think.

Definitely a good toss to win......stats would suggest that - but NZ are going to have to bowl oh so well.

Quality by Buttler. NZ already looking in dire need of a wicket.

Yeah. Nice shot from Buttler, but this is hard work. Bairstow has a strike rate of 58

Bugger - not looking good. Needed to get the Butt Kicker early.

And Boult has completely lost it this over.

Bairstow sloppily whacks one to Williamson. 37-1. Hohum.

Buttler looking a class above the rest of the English lineup. We'll be lucky to get 140 here unless he pulls off something amazing.

Interesting to see how consistent a semi finalist Pak is despite being flakes.

Buttler gone. Huge.

Yeah, we're done. Buttler plumb lbw trying to get something going with a reverse slog sweep. Blows a bad review too.

Congrats NZ. Back to work for me!

I think when you switch hit like that you lose that sense of exactly where everything is. Malan should've told him not to bother, though.

Possibly a bit premature - but a huge wicket nae doubt. Now NZ have to get in amongst it.
