All Blacks find form to demolish the Wallabies.
Wallabies wont be anywhere near as shit as Argentina were tonight
This is not a whine, just a talking point.
I can't find anything from google on the situation Lavanini found himself in. He committed a yellow card offence, no question, he didn't retreat ten or to his own line before making the tackle, but since it was after the knock on and wasn't dirty or violent, I thought the card should have been overturned.
Any play after the knock on is chalked off, as per the try.
Can anyone point to the specific situation here and show why the card stood?
This is just a point of interest for me, I'm not really disputing it as such.

Lots of afrikaans in Sydney.
Surprised it wasn't a deliberate high shot and a redTichtheid wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 9:31 am This is not a whine, just a talking point.

Glad they've not allowed the try to spare the yellow. Seeing more of that and it's good for the game.
I didn’t actually see it myself, but anyone defending Lavinini is on the wrong side of history.SaintK wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 9:46 amSurprised it wasn't a deliberate high shot and a redTichtheid wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 9:31 am This is not a whine, just a talking point.

Pretty sure a yellow card (foul play) infringement reverses a knock on. Whistle not blown at that point.
