Nice score from Tigers there. Once they decide to play, they really can.

Yeah, you're never going to go through a French pack, but you can certainly go around them. Although Tameifuna may have his own gravitational pull which would make getting past him a bit trickier.petej wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 3:31 pmTigers must hope they can tire out bordeaux and need to keep the ball in play to have a chance of winning this.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 3:15 pm I'll be watching Tigers - Bordeaux, it should be the more even contest.

Ford's tactical kicking is really hurting Bordeaux.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 3:42 pmYeah, you're never going to go through a French pack, but you can certainly go around them. Bath don't need to be kicking possession to Leinster; but if they do; they can't be surprised if they get spanked.
31 - 6
Can they get to 50 by HT ?

Tigers - Bordeaux remains very much a contest. Only 3 points in it.
Tigers have been stupid in letting the game slow which suits bordeaux.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 4:47 pm

It is a bit reminiscent of last year's European knock out where they did enough to stay in touch, but not land the killer blow.

There's obviously some kind of conspiracy between the Leinster management, & the bookies to not beat the spread.
Leinster doing an impression of Bath in the second half, the subs really added nothing to that game for them. They left about 5 tries out there.
Bath though.....whats the point? Hooper has to fall on his sword surely if he has any love for the club.

45 - 20 FT
The score in no way reflects the balance of the game; but Leinster was pragmatic; & took of players early; but it totally disrupted the 2nd half.

Bordeaux go for the win rather than the draw and are undone.
Laughable. Considering that if Bordeaux played their fat lads would be knackered. By played you mean a bit of running between extended rests. Tigers should have played with more ambition which would have made it easier for them.
Yep. TMO check for a Sarries try last play of the game, TMO gave a penalty to Edinburgh.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

With no Jalibert and Tin-Duck playing, I wondered if this was going to be an "upset".

ASM looking as bad as they have all season against a side missing 64 players due to COVID.

Clermont appear to have modelled their kits on 1980s sleeping bags.

They've played like they've been asleep all season.Hal Jordan wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 5:41 pm Clermont appear to have modelled their kits on 1980s sleeping bags.
