Incredible how the French can be indisciplined, maybe 10 off side penalties in 15 minutes.
Can’t stand this ref, awful.

Love how Chessum did absolutely nothing there apart from getting shoved around by the French players and gently slapped/tapped in the face and he's the one that got penalised. Never even raised his hands.

Just tuned in and surprised by the score. From round 1 form it looked like France would wack England.

A few key changes from the game against SA like dropping the hooker who can't throw and starting the reserve scrum half who got us playing more fluidly.FalseBayFC wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 4:25 pm Just tuned in and surprised by the score. From round 1 form it looked like France would wack England.
France have also contributed to their own downfall by consistently being offside and giving away lots of penalties as a result. Whether the interpretation is too strict or not, they have failed to adapt and it has cost them.

France really does not look good today, a mountain of unforced errors. Some of the U13 games i watched tbis week have less errors

Ja the ginger hooker had a mare. French forwards look a little sluggish from what I've seen. Weather looks lovely and the cicadas going in the background is such an Italian summer thing.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 4:30 pmA few key changes from the game against SA like dropping the hooker who can't throw and starting the reserve scrum half who got us playing more fluidly.FalseBayFC wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 4:25 pm Just tuned in and surprised by the score. It's all starting to go a bit wrong for England now...
Must be setting a record for TMO usage in an U20s game.

Just catching up on it now, and wanted to comment on this! At worst he gives the hooker some verbals (and it's impossible to say how much), the hooker walks upto him, gives him a gentle slap, and Chessum then gets barged in the back, never reacts to any of it, yet gets penalised...Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 4:23 pmLove how Chessum did absolutely nothing there apart from getting shoved around by the French players and gently slapped/tapped in the face and he's the one that got penalised. That was a topsy turvy couple of minutes. Red card to a potentially game winning lead.

Bokkies far from the finish product but at least they try and do everything with speed. Maybe to much over eagerness.

28-3 HT.
Ref are very strict on the tackling and dish out yellows.
Sasha kicking to poles are shite but he sure is lovely to watch.

Yeah they need a few calm heads in their own 22 where they seem to want to run the ball from their own goalline but keep on making mistakes, lucky for them Ireland did not capitalise on any of those mistakes giving the ball to Ireland.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 6:45 pm Bokkies far from the finish product but at least they try and do everything with speed. Nice to see them trying to run, but sometimes running is not the option.
Is it very humid there? Both sides seem to have loafs of handling errors.

Great South African summer weather.
Italian summer climate is the best in the world (except if you’re in Milan at 40C in a business suit).
But seriously there are so many reasons for keeping them in the 6 nations.

Bokkies played all their quotas in the 2nd half. They will need to play much better against France to qualify for the final.
If they are smart they will absolutely bum them.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 8:05 pm Bokkies played all their quotas in the 2nd half. They will need to play much better against France to qualify for the final.
