Using the gender neutral player for women is definitely a choice, though. They could've easily gone with woman of the match and they didn't.Tichtheid wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 7:30 pmsockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 7:27 pmI don't know it for a fact, but why else would they moved away from man of the match other than to prepare for that sort of possibility?
It makes for consistency with the women's game, I guess.
I mean, they are all rugby players aren't they? That is what they are being judged on for that gong.

I have to say, I know people type "LOL", but that really did make me laugh out loud.
Of course I'd love to be wrong, but I can't see the form in the Scottish performances that would make me think we have any kind of chance - if we get our back three on front foot ball we might do something, it's the bit before that that bothers me

The thing is .... what we've seen with Fozzie's AB's; is if you can put it up 'em at the start; they aren't as mentally robust as previous teams !Tichtheid wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 10:09 pm

So if Scotland could have a decent 1st half, & nudge out a bit of a lead; they might not have to deal with that 15min period where the ABs just run in 3-4 tries. This side just don't seem to have that ability.
The stupid part is that the Scottish players, & coaches know exactly what they need to do, & not do to deliver that performance; but they need to deliver on it, with <10 penalties, & a fearsome defense, & then just capitalizing on the attacking opportunities that come their way.
Oh, and kicking any, & every opportunity that comes their way !!

Lager & Lime - we don't do cocktails
Foodie and Dogbert, if Scotland could produce a performance from the pack like the days of old, the all blood and snotters Calders and Whites and Murrays, then I'd back our backs against anyone, nae bother.
If we get parity up front tomorrow we will be in with a shout, get the ball to Darcy or Duhan in half a yard and we can do some damage.
If we get turned over up front we are going to take a battering

Just watched the highlights. Not the full story of course, but Italy created some lovely backline moves and looked well worth their win.

Can you watch games on a catch up basis on Prime? As in if I start watching half an hour after kick off will I be able to watch from the start?

It'll start you where the match currently is, but you can 'rewind', as it were, to wherever you want in what's already been broadcast.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 12:55 pm Can you watch games on a catch up basis on Prime? I THINK it gives me the option to watch live or stop from the beginning when watching on my laptop, but live only on the telly.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 12:55 pm Can you watch games on a catch up basis on Prime? If you have both options, try them both and one of them may do what you want!

I think it depends on the platform being used. On my firestick I can choose to watch live or from the beginning, and I can rewind etc. if I via Virgin cable, I can only watch live.charltom wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 2:01 pmI THINK it gives me the option to watch live or stop from the beginning when watching on my laptop, but live only on the telly.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 12:55 pm Can you watch games on a catch up basis on Prime? Such another weak start, just completely unable to compete
