Not convinced on his selection, he had no choice there

Yeah. For the first time in ages we're going to lose a game but genuinely see how this could be a team with a future.

LIke JMK said, it was going to be a 50:22, so it would've been an Irish throw anyway. He took the chance to try and make it not so.

To develop this style of play England need to keep trying. I suspect the coaches will revert to type (low risk and conservative).

Not with Ford at the helm...i am convinced Smith would have done a LOT more with that speed of ball in the first 15-20 mins

and even if it wasn't (which it was) it was a bugger of a decision to have to make. I am enjoying his acceleration in the game.

Agree. Ford is better than Farrell, but he's still thinking too much of drop goals, rather than a line break at speed

Again, any defence that relies on Henry Slade making good decisions is going to concede try after try

That all started from the ref giving a penalty against England for coming in from the side when they were trying to clear out VdF who came in even more from the side. We have a joke sport

Good hands but defensive line shredded again way too easily. Nearly happened numerous times first half tbh.

Ref can't award Ireland another janky breakdown pen if there's no breakdown

No reason not to give Slade the kicking duties at this point.

They won't. As when they get close they will tighten up and stop playing. They genuinely don't believe they can win.
