Scotland have completely shat the bed this match.
When Ireland get to 30, we can say that. So far, it's going better than expected

It's ridiculous. Clear knock on and then advantage over after three passes across the pitch.
I'm confused.
Knock on advantage is always over quickly.
Only if you achieve some degree of advantage.
You got quick ball. It's up to you to use it.

In case anybody in wondering, it is dry in Dublin at present (nice sunset) but it's been pissing rain all week so handling conditions are poor.

It happens quite often in Scotland matches. A referee takes against them and then all the decisions go the other way.

I don't think we ever had much hope to be fair. We were solid but I think the try flattered us scoreline wise.

Fair dues Scotland, great defence.
Well done Ireland for holding on, but the team and performances regressed badly over recent weeks.
I never want to see Murray in an Ireland shirt again.

Well that was a lot better result than I think we were all anticipating, but it still manages to be incredibly frustrating and leave you with the feeling that we’ve fucked up a massive opportunity across the whole tournament.

It's hard not to be seen to be moaning but yes, some very frustrating calls. The one thing that really got me was Doris being able to fall or advance into an offside position at nearly every breakdown and just getting warned. It slows down ball or cuts out options every time and it's quite deliberate.
Any congrats Ireland. We would have needed more than a few ref calls to really be winning that match.

Btw, according to the tv listings, the Scotland Ireland coverage on itv runs until twenty past seven before the England France coverage starts. How much of the next half hour do we think they’ll actually spend talking about England?
