Seems a bit knee-jerkey just to can it. If it was adding value, and keeping people employed, just print the permits and let the people work??

I suppose there were other considerations as well such as public transport etc, but still. Try to make it work dammit.

The intent of the curfew is just to dissuade folks from having parties and gallivanting around for non-essential reasons...drinking at braais and house parties, and getting into car accidents when the hospital beds are desperately needed.
